66 degrees and foggy here in Vermont. Should burn off soon.
Went on an interview just north of Burlington. That went well, but I'll know more in a few
weeks.
Saw three homes in Corinth VT and one in Plainfield NH. One was really nice. Small house (fine for just the wife, dog and I) and 11 acres. This is one house a family had better be ready for being stuck in during a heavy snow.

Best of luck to you Roy on that job...and NH is a beautiful state....let us know..

Roy, I don't envy you having to pack up and move but you gotta do what you gotta do. Was really cool this morning (64 degrees) but now its up to 86 and very sunny. Just came in from pushing a mower and trimming limbs off a few trees. Not planning to go back out until it cools down some.

IF this works out, we'll be selling a lot of stuff, including the RFM and cutter. There's not enough lawn for a 72" RFM and I'd want to replace the cutter with a 60" Deere unit that's QH compatable. The lawn would require a smaller lawn tractor. The two fields (I'm estimating 5-6 acres total) need a cutter, not an RFM.
So, the 4400 would be saved for field mowing, chipping (I'll keep the chipper) and snow removal. The drive is an easy 800'. There'd be less hours on the 4400..but it might be a power unit for a 10-15 kW generator too.

After Church my wife and I worked on the basement "guest room" corner. We are setting up the guest room furniture in an impromtu fashion so a person can stay and not sleep on the couch. It is looking pretty good so far. Will try to finish most of it today, but I'm planning a faux wall using furring strips and paneling on the back side of a large storage shelf, and i need a couple hours with no rain to go and get the paneling...

Morning. Still 71 outside and it's stopped raining for now. Looks like I got about 3" yesterday. Suppose to rain on and off today as well. My goal for today is to finalize the pex order and get it reviewed by some folks at garage journal. Been almost two weeks since I've talked to my concrete guy so I guess I'll have to call him tomorrow to see what's going on. I told him I wasn't in a big hurry, but would like to start filling the barn up before the snow fly's (or would that be flies). First cup of coffee is getting cold so I need to have "breakfast" and get the day started.

Got back at about 1730 yesterday after a 9 hour drive. Wife and I were has, the dog was estatic!
Came home to a rainy evening and doesn't look much better today.

It's 73 now and the high is to be 79 with rain. Good day to kick back from the trip.

GOOD LUCK on your first day at the new job, David!! I start my 3-6 month contract job tomorrow too.

Had plenty rain over weekend 2.1 inches before rain gauge broke, guess it couldn't handle the strain
