Partly cloudy and a cool 73 degrees at noon here ...
Just killed the first cup ... time for the second one.
Worked up in the shed until around 0300 last night ... finished getting the four new electrical outlets installed with conduit run.
Went down to polebarn yesterday and gathered up a loader bucket full of tools, supplies, and tool cases and brought them up to the shed to clean off and put away. Got the mud cleaned off three extension cords.
My steel supplier called yesterday afternoon to say that the 3 x 3 x 3/8 angle had come in and I could drop by and pick it up ... so I did ... and also grabbed 7' of 1" Schedule 80 to use as the cross brace on the SSQA. Schedule 80 might be overkill for this, but I'd rather it be a little heavy than too light.
Got 20' of the angle cut up in 30" sections last night for 8 sawhorse legs ... it is some heavy stuff ... ain't going to be picking these sawhorses up ... lol ...
I ended up deciding to initially build the sawhorses @ 28" high ... Buck said make 'em 32" ... but by going with a 28" height I was able to get 8 legs out of two 10' sticks of angle ... leaving two untouched for other things (like a LPGS

) ... if they need to be higher I have enough 3 x 2 rectangular tube that I could stack it up two high on the cross bars ... that would bring 'em in around 31" or so ...
Today I'll trim the ends of the legs to the correct angles (70 and 20 degrees) and get the 1" pipe for the SSQA cut up to the correct length(s). Also work on sweating the copper tube for air lines. Might even get back to my favorite activity: putting fasteners away in the storage cabinets ... lol ...
And the grease and brushes for the Sawzall and grinder came in the other day from Milwaukee, so there's always that as well ... if I run out of other stuff to do.
At some point I'm going to have to bite the bullet and reinstall my CAD software so I can layout the design and produce some drawings for the grapple. Not looking forward to that ... hopefully it
will not involve floppy disks ... lol ..
