On a positive note, this morning Finch was transferred into the custody of Ohio Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and is presently residing at the Lorain Correctional Facility ... possibly for some time to come.

That deck looks nice. Ron, glad you are home in one fully attached piece.

It only took me four years, here's a few pics
funny, it's pretty crude feeling compared to my JD mower; but then so would a JD B compared to my Kubota.
But it starts right up; didn't even touch the carb adjustment. Nor did I change the points yet, which clearly work just fine
with that extra hot Bosch coil. Still need to hook up headlamp wire, which is dangling down I see.

Whenever I can get that steering wheel off, I will do a full redo of the dash.

Clothes dryer on the frittz again. Heat not coming on. Went thru this last yr.

Tilled the garden, tiller started first pull, but have to run full choke. Kept shutting off, but would start up again one pull. Old troy built about 25 yrs old. Needs a good carb cleaning.

Nope.

I did finally confirm with Hernando County Sheriff's Evidence Department that he was not in possession of it when he was arrested.

Need to check the other county were he was originally busted.

Don, I've had good service using Oregon "Gator" mulching blades on my JD Z820A.

I saw those and will try them next time, thanks.

Don, what are you driving on that gives you so many flats?
Boy I wish I could sharpen those blades for you. I really enjoy sharpening blades on a double stone grinding wheel, can get them razor sharp
or with a tougher edge. With no rocks here, but some sandy dust when dry, I go for the razor sharp. Sounds like lettuce getting sliced
when I go through a high patch.
Seems to be a tough environment there, really. Is your grass like field grass, abrasive and tough?

I'm driving on a gravel road that gets graded several times a year, they re-arrange the rocks so the sharp ends stick up.

My yard is mostly bahai grass http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4012/4459788742_d2cc3fd292_z.jpg?zz=1 a very tough grass. What I spend on blades I save on water and fertilizer. I mowed again today and even with new blades I still had to mow some areas twice - and I don't mow at a fast speed.

Your Cub Cadet is looking mighty pretty, is it also functional?

Ron, you are doing remarkably well to get back from la la land to a keyboard so soon.

We have a wet, misty start to the day, made it more than a bit muddy getting the sheep through the race. The best lambs are now in a pen waiting for transport to arrive and take them to market.

Have a friend coming to collect fertiliser that is stored in my barn. A bit of machinery to move first and the Fergie at the front of it all has a flat - at least it's a front tire.

Got some bush hogging done yesterday in the nice cool morning. Will get some tilling and yard mowing today before heading to the train station.
