Good morning!!!!

It has cooled down to 80F. I saw 97F in the parking lot at Lowe's, and the news said our high was 98F, the same as yesterday. So no new high for the summer.

Nice looking job on the table top David.

Roy, that clip was cute. Some folks just have too much time on their hands.

I watched the 2nd half and extra time of the soccer. We were playing above our heads, especially the goal keeper and that 19 year old kid who scored. I was proud they were even in it against a strong team like Belgium.

Muggy 73*F with 75% humidity tonight. I could see a haze of humidity in the air all day and felt it too.

I've got my fingers crossed for Friday and Saturday. We (VFD) have fireworks planned for Saturday, set-up on Friday and Saturday. So far the forecast looks good.

Table looks very nice Sodamo. That will certainly hold a lot of food. Maybe you need leg bracing? :D:D

72 right now and a high of 89 predicted. Looks like rain and cooler temperatures over the next few days...

Thanks guys
Finish is a polyurethane stain, classic oak, I did 2 light coats. Same as I used on all my cabinets.
Will put a second coat of paste wax on it tomorrow.
Already has 8 legs ( I cheated and just added the top on top of two existing tables. Put together the new chairs and as you might guess was missing one pack of hardware. Doubtful, I'd find the metric nuts in my junk. Picked up a piece os 36 inch diameter, 1/2" tempered glass for a lazy Susan.

Got coffee pot brewing. 65° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 75° with a couple of showers during the day. I like the lower temperatures and humidity forcast for the next few day. Need to get house AC running to cool inside down. Have not used it yet this year. Off to PT this morning.
Good Morning All.

morning all, Ron enjoy those cooler temps; they sure aren't over here on the East coast. Hot and sticky with thunderstorms this afternoon, and that coastal storm bearing down/up on us for tomorrow and Friday. Well, at least we will get wet. Could use some rain...running my sprinkler system which I never did the last two years.

off for an oil change on the toyota and then to the farm to meet my buddy Bill who is always there to help me when I get into situations that I think would be safer with another set of hands and eyes. Like picking up the big land pride field mower with the FEL to touch up the blades with a hand grinder. I have plenty of fabric straps and hook points so no problem. But I do have visions of the whole thing coming down on me and nobody around to help so whenever I crawl under something heavy seems I ought to be even more careful about how to crawl out. And good glasses...guess i'd better get a sweat band too. going to be seriously hot out there.
slow and safe and go home once again with clothes that drop at the utility room door with a splash.

when it's in the high nineties, time to find a friend's pool

74 with another mid nineties and only 30% chance of storms. No rain since 6/21, but heavy rain forecast for tomorrow.

Drew, be careful crawling under your mower. Do you lean it on its side?

Got some caulking to do today, and some cleaning up brush collected against my bridge before the rains come.

72*F maybe some rain today with scattered t-storms.

Drew, those mower blades are not the easiest thing to work on for sure. I have ground my blades laying on my back with the mower connected to the 3pt and resting on jack stands. Not the preferred position for working but reasonably safe. I have thought about tipping it up against a tree, then chaining it to the tree. If supported by the FEL, I would use some stout boards or fence posts for props and let some of the mower weight rest on those while working on it.

Need to get some stakes in for the four tomato plants today and help Sharon take the dogs to the vet's office later. Sharon was "inspired" to get some tomato plants a while back. So, I asked her if they are determinate or indeterminant? No idea. Well, what variety are they? Can't remember. Whatever they are, they look like they would like to be staked, and I'm sure we will pick something red eventually. :)

Beautiful day yesterday and another on tap for today before rain and wind tomorrow. Neighbors grandson caught a baby shark yesterday, better stay out of the water today. Good morning

Good Morning, 72F here this fine morning, heading to 81F. Did more decluttering of the house and it is actually starting to become easy to throw stuff out, easier then I thought but boy have I collect a lot of items over the years.
