Good morning!!!!

Good Morning. 0900, partly cloudy, 75F with 96% humidity. Forecast high of 88F with 28% chance of showers this afternoon, and a low of 70F tonight. It was a cool 72F when I was driving in to work at 0530. I'm already through cleaning up from last night's Proj Grad. I got done quicker today than yesterday. Knowing I had people coming in to use the Ball Room made me get a move on. So now I can sit in my office, yawn and listen to the Tiny Mite Cheerleaders do their thing. {I'll close the door as soon as I get up}

Everyone have a good Saturday.

My mowing is all done. :stirthepot: It was a beautiful afternoon with sunshine and a nice breeze.

My trimming is another, sorrier story. I need to buy one of those fixed-cut trimmer heads that just use snap-in lengths of trimmer line. I've had it with stupid bump feed spools. After three times re-threading the string and they kept breaking off, I put the trimmer away and got out the mower. It is a factory wound spool too. I want something simple that works without the mystery and misery.

45*F & clear tonight. Tomorrow looks good for planting some cukes and yellow snap beans. I need to make a pass with the tiller again before planting.

I wore out my 'bump' head years ago and replaced it with a fixed line head. You can use heavier line, so it last longer and will eat through most weeds and briars.

Yup, gave up on those fancy heads, simply cut a bunch of the heaviest line that fits in the holes. Takes maybe 30 seconds to thread the holes. Don't remember the size, but buy the 500ft spool at HD, have 2 marks on the shelf for measurement and a pair of old dog nail clippers to cut. When wife does the weed eating, she threads about half dozen spares onto her vest - she is harder on the lines than I am LOL. We have a maruyama trimmer that takes a single string and a shindaiwa that takes 2.
