Car show today started at 10am, about 4 miles from home. It was pretty nice. I wanted to enter two cars but worked on a Nash fuel pump rebuild last night until 11pm and decided I'd just enter a '69 Rogue (the last Rambler). People said "nice car...what is it?".
Here it is at home & few show pictures.

There is a soft spot in my heart for Packards...Maybe because I owned a '55 Clipper Super Panama. Bought off my Grandfather, right after I totaled my Pontiac. He bought a new '65 Mustang for my Grandmother (the Packard was getting to be too big for her). Ford dealer only wanted to give $50.oo for the Packard and Grandpa got to keep it, so he charged me $50.oo for it, BUT I had to do the brakes before I plated it. Good deal for me until my ex-wife had it towed. (Was legally parked).:(
Now you know one of the reasons why she became my ex.

Drilling a new well is likely your only option

Yeah … possibly not.

Both the driller I’m talking to now and another one I spoke to previously said the well could be drilled deeper … just need a cable tool rig to do it.

Which the one I spoke to previously has.

In fact they suggested drilling deeper as part of the well rehab when I originally spoke to them.

We drilled a new well when we took over the farm. The driller outfit was packing up as they were on the last section of drill pipe and could go no deeper and as he told us he was stopping the drilling and moving to a new spot the water came in. He said we had the deepest well in the area

How deep is it ?

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 13C and it's presently 16.7C [heading to 22C], mostly cloudy & calm.

As per usual, I'm off to Church in a short while and then the rest of the day is His.

I believe that it's the 'Fall back' an hour time change for those who do it in the Northern hemisphere.

That's about it, take care all.

So...storage tank, or new well, or both?

Or drill it a bit deeper.

Any thoughts on why your aquifer is dropping?

Additional homes in the area would be my guess.

I can think of 6 to 8 “new” ones (in the last 25 years) along the back side of our property.

The adjacent street our road/driveway runs off of has homes on roughly 1 acre lots (100’ wide x 400’ deep) … so home every 100’ … all on wells. Probably 30 to 40 of them.

A lot of demand in a fairly concentrated area.
