Good Tractor Evening,
May look at it today and its a Speedco 25 ton if anyone cares.
Arly, I have a Speedo, 27 ton I think. My buddy worked at HD and called me up, said come down right away. After 100 rental hours they unload these things. Bought it for about 700 bucks and have used it probably 30 years or more. Honda engine starts on the first pull 😉
Need to go look at my eyelids for a while.
RS, I seem to plenty of that sitting I don’t of the wood stove 😉😂
Here’s tonite picture, pretty much where I was this morning 😉

Good Tractor Morning,
Vt, 34 to start going to 52. Good trip up to Vermont yesterday afternoon. Got here in time to see the sunset, which wasn’t spectacular but still pleasant but without some cloud cover it’s just nice.

Couple bridges under reconstruction on the way up, one on the south side of Cambridge,Ny, comments Lou , that seems to be taking forever. And then another one on the road leading up to our mountain top on East Wells Rd, is down to one lane. Slows things up a bit with long red to green light delay times.

David, how about some more pictures of the new tractor and flail 😃

The lawn up here looks like it could use one last mow before I clean the deck and take the battery out for the winter.

Hey, I brought my portable radio gear and if and when it warms up enough I will activate Lake St. Catherine state park. Sounds like rain coming in Monday so I’m guessing some shop time is in order. If I remember I was working on the rocker back spindles.

Sitting in front of the of the wood stove this morning with a nice cup of coffee, so a nice start to the day so far. 😃

Buppies I’m sorry, I thought it was Holly’s birthday , so Happy Birthday to you 🎊🎉🎂

Hope all have a blessed and safe day 🙏
Well the only ones that I'm aware of are these two and the bridge work in Shushan.
That one has no timeline, the first two have time lines but I sure wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to complete them.
They had an interesting County Board meeting today, I went up to try and get in an observe and comment. Didn't happen I got there a half hour before the meeting was to start, couldn't find a place to park any wheres close finally got in about 15 minutes before time to start and it was already 3 deep in standing room only. Drove home and got online and caught the last 2 and half hours of it. Long drawn out wasted affair, the County is going to exceed the Budget cap by a considerable amount and the Public Hearing took quite awhile.
They had been wanting well over a 20% increase in property taxes, now it looks like it may be 12-15%.

Good (Saturday) early arvo, due to a power outage this A.M. Overnight Low of 6.1C and it's presently 21.8C, Partly cloudy with an increasing breeze. I'll be taking the repaired flagpole down later on as we're in for another howling wind day tomorrow. <sigh>

Yesterday included a quick trip to the PO = the Wine Faeries have been active again. The rest of the arvo was spent raking & filling my ute's box with leaves/seed-pods/twigs for disposal. 2.5 loads.

What with the power outage (which the power company texted me that they were aware of the fault) I got 'stuck into' doing non-powered household sweeping/dusting. Later on I'll vacuum the house.

That's about it, take care all.

good morning all
up early, woke up thinking intensely for ten minutes about what to do next with my back,
maybe I was dreaming about it?, came to conclusion to skip the hip joint and go right to lower back shot.
I've been through four scans and a colonoscopy and they have found nothing helpful.
I have another scheduled full torso scan next month for oncologist and that one is a must, not this likely goose chase.

at least ten grand worth of chasing gooses, Medicare seems happy to pay for a zillion scans.

I just need to step back and be happy that nothing new/worse was found. Was happy just to rule out cancer.
always have to look for silver lining.

of course by then I was wide awake and heading for coffee pot.

today is mums day. Have about ten decorative mums that are done for year and need to get planted.
ground is way too hard for me to do this with a shovel. I lust for my old PHD with a 4 inch planting auger.
I am back in the land of rocks and roots and even using planting auger on my cordless drill is difficult.
Maybe I'll go vertical, find a big wooden planter and put them in there. One more thing to water.

not motivated to get out there early, cold out there, in 40's and not warming up til later in the morning.
have a great weekend gentlemen.

before I die I want to see a wine faerie.
next time I'm in State store, going to look carefully for one
amusingly we have lots of gay folks in this area, but haven't seen any faeries.
Do they have little gossamer wings?
must be strong to haul cases of wine around... ;)

They are truly magical creatures, somewhat purple shaded in colour with gossamer wings.

Faerie 'rings' are used to transport cases of wine.

As with all "Faerie Folk", they live in the bottom of a/your garden. You may be able to encourage Faeries in your garden, Drew, by consulting a gardening centre or 'New Age' shop... think Garden Gnome, but smaller.

Coffee has finished brewing. 53° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 76° with afternoon thunderstorms. Yesterday started out kind of gloomy. So I headed of to local Pharmacy and got my Flu shot. Spent rest of the day on back porch watching the critters in yard. Today neighbor wants me to take some family photos with fall colors. We will see if weather cooperates with that.
This little guy thought it was caught in the net. Way out was less than an inch away. It found its way out before I could rescue it.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.

44 to 74. Some clouds.

Ron, glad your chipmunk got loose. Our sightings here this year have been spotty.

Yesterday was resuming chainsaw and lopper work along the road fence line. Finished and grappled 5 loads to a brush pile. Wife brought pizza home, so refueled when I finished, then zonked out.
