need to buy a ladder.
was drooling over Popgadget's variety of nice ladders, I used to have most of the same, but
no tall stuff any more. But I need to get to top of rv, have to change out some light fixtures.
A simple 10 foot aluminum ladder, well padded, would be fine.
two challenges for me.
has to be lightweight yet support my 240
has to fit in my suv. So maybe something in two parts.
But not those fold up ones; they seem to all be super heavy..
ultimately need two 10 foot stepladders, which no one has and a 10 foot scaffolding plank
between them. Seems that's the only way to get the fiberglass brow on my rv waxed properly.
It looked nice for two weeks and now...shows it needs full compounding first, which we didn't do.
only way to properly do it is with scaffolding. That's how they did it when I originally bought the rv.
Maybe I'll invest in a ten foot stepladder. A straight ladder would actually be best for the rear lighting fix.
I have the new light fixtures, just have to get up there to put them in.
safely
going to call local Ace hardware and see what they have in stock. Likely have to go to Home Depot for better selection.
this is where not having a pickup any more is restricting, trying to get this big stuff home.
I simply cannot wait for my nephew's 14 yo son to get his license. He has already offered to run all the errands I want,
more seat time for him. I remember the days, get behind the wheel and get off the farm.
phlox and zinnias growing up in kitchen window view, very pretty yellow bird comes to visit, too heavy for tiny flowers and they
bend over. I tried to get a pic but I spooked the bird since it can see into kitchen.
