Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low was a balmy (Winter) 11.4C and it's presently only 12.8C, mostly cloudy with a wee breeze. There was 10.1mm in the gauge @0900.

Thomas: "Enjoy your weekend all."?

My Ct taxes will be due shortly so need to cut a check to the town for the privilege of living in my completely paid off home 😉
Yep. I received my local Council annual 'rates notice' last week and, yes, like you, my house/property is paid off. I've got until near the end of August to pay, which I do the entirety as opposed to via instalments. There's a slight discount for doing it all at once.

BUT, this time I get to have them apply my Age Pension discount! Woo HOO!!!

Well, it's 'into town' day for a PO stop, petrol for the ute and Senior Discount grocery shopping. (hey, 5% is 5%)

That's about it, take care all.

Back from quick trip to Ohio.
Got dad's ramp done.
Met with waterline people, showed them what we wanted moved, they agreed. Nice guys.
Mowed for a few hours this morning.
stopped at 2 menards to pick up stuff to install new air handler upstairs. Premade parts to just splice together, will make the job go faster. First Menards didn't have everything.
100 ft roll of 10/2 over $200...ouch.

Got home and had my Lowes order in the garage, twice. they sent 2 of everything, all on one order number that says 1. Now what.. Maybe it was BOGO day when I ordered.

Good Morning
66°, dew point 55°, bright sun, gonna be a nice day.

Yesterday’s major accomplishment was to get the mowing done, both with the Lazer and the Progressive. Everything but the pastures is done. That might happen today.

Didn’t spend much time inside, so there is still stuff to organize and put away, but I did a a small job on the Bridgeport for a neighbor, making a part for his mower.
A little frustrating, I measured the size it needed to be with a micrometer, and he insisted that couldn’t be right. So I asked what size he wanted me to make it, and because it was bigger, I indulged him. I left the fixturing in place as well as the DRO settings, so when he came back in I could make it the correct size.
When he came back, he was still saying that he couldn’t understand that it didn’t fit……
So I put it back in the machine and cut it to size.

Today is breakfast with the professor, and then the old guys at the model field, and then maybe mow the pastures
measure once, cut twice

Near the NE corner of the farm. 20 min trip back to the house.
Actual corner is 100 ft or so right behind here, but almost straight down.

first pic taken at bottom left corner of this pic. our east line fence is right in front of tractor. That was me mowing. Top left you can see a road way down at the bottom of the hill, probably 800 ft or so drop.

Glad your able to check another things to do off your list BEF. :)
but the list sure doesn't get any shorter....
I need to be in about 3 places at the same time. Hated to leave, but got stuff I need to get done here. I was sitting in my truck in Ohio, ready to leave, and I watched on camera as they unloaded 1 AH and 1condenser unit. I guess they had already unloaded 1 set before I brought up the camera. If I'd have known, I'd have called my wife. She thought I had ordered 2.

Pipeline people are starting to put back topsoil and reseed. They already did some seeding up the road, and are removing their access stone up the road. I suggested to my sister we just have them leave the stone road thru our field, instead of removing it. She will contact them.
