RNG, we all miss hearing from you. Please check in occasionally. I want to know which one of those
bikes you are going to rebuild next. You are planning on an addition to rear of house?
Really glad you got your other house sold; you put so much into that place.
and you learned how to rebuild a fire truck!

no you don't need the second diesel...did you get the other one running?
Now maybe you could hook it up to a pump jack, pull up millions of dollars of oil, just have to
find the right spot...

69 after last night t-storms...got a good rain that we needed. Heading to 93, maybe another storm.

Glad RNG checked in...know he's been busy. He's helped me in the past, so will miss him.

Buppies, sorry things are still in a rough patch. Prayers.

Been wrestling with our new fiber install...until last night's t-storm, it was up only about half the time...and so intermittent at times that I would sit here and watch a ping monitor software to see when I could sneak an internet page in or out. The s/w is really cool, showing you all the internet hops you go through from you home to a chosen destination...as a test, it takes 7 hops to go from my house to 8.8.8.8, google's IP...and the status/effect of each hop on my internet use.

On Friday, I scheduled a tech to visit this afternoon at 1pm...I saved some ping graphs that show the frequent and long duration 100% packet losses. But this morning, it's running fine...like when you take your car to the mechanic and it won't make that noise that you had been hearing all week before.

I think it will act up later this morning when the sun starts heating things up again. Clearly something was been wrong.

Got a hike and swim in during all this, 92F in the woods, and worked on a plumbing problem.

66 going to low 90s. Chance of storms. Everyone around us is getting some rain every day, but not us. Going to the 2nd week of no rain in the gauge.

Pulled the wheel off the tractor yesterday. Need to get the valve replaced. And while it's in the shop will fix the seal that has been seeping out fluid. Getting the tractor back in good shape after being neglected for the bridge project. Still working on that but not as much because we can drive over it. Just a little at a time.
Also fixed my compressor. At least now it leaks down a lot slower.
Todays plan is to go to New South NH dealer and get a seal and have them fix the tire.
Then when I get back I may start tearing in to it. I may not

Time for a second cup.

Good Morning,
Ct, 64 to start going to mid 80’s or beyond.

Had a great time on my first Field Day event with my newly adopted radio club, MARC. Meriden Amateur Radio Club. Only being there as a member for a couple of weeks and I had a chance to operate one of their CW transmitters. I made a lot of contacts for the club on 40 and 15 meter frequency bands.
Everything is so much different than it was 55 years ago as far as logging contacts with computers.
But I got the hang of it fairly quickly.

Leaving for Vermont on Tuesday evening, all the family is coming up and the grands will have a blast swimming in the lake and jumping off the boat onto the floating mat that we have

Quite often I'll be reaching for the 4wd lever in anticipation of needing it.

Lou, I usually just leave my Massey in 4 WD , maybe I could save fuel if it was just in 2 WD

good morning, 74 going to 88

Managed to not get the mower all covered in mud yesterday by stopping after feeling wheel slips.

Held a celebration for GD for HS graduation and acceptance for college. Nice restaurant first time we had used that one, all had a good time. She loved her pink Bose head set and other gifts

The mini split is fluctuating in fan speed a sign that it needs cleaning I think. The first one I checked wanted 600 dollars for a cleaning so need to check a few more and decide on doing it myself or pay for it

Going shopping today but not to North Bay. I am not going on the highway until the struts are fixed.

Lou, I think I can count the number of times my Kioti has NOT been in 4wd. I am always on dirt, so just leave it in 4wd.

RNG, good luck with the rest of your life. You will be missed.

Mel Brooks turned 99 on last Saturday. That is a ripe old age and still going strong.

Not even 8AM and not so warm but humid. Showers predicted for the mid-day.
Been a really slow weekend. Kinda nice after the last week and a half of multiple (3) funerals.
One more on the near horizon. I don't like to predict for other people. You never know when a tractor could decide to take you out or a heart attack... but this one's been coming for some time.
Visited him Friday at the hospital and it was depressing. From hyperactive to hardly being able to lift his head.
Enjoy your life and health while you've got it. Today, tomorrow, next year it might be gone.
