Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #201,411
Good (Monday) arvo. Overnight Low of 18.7C and it's presently dropped down to 17.9C as a cold front comes through. It's overcast with some rain.

'We've' come out of a three day heat wave of 30+C with clear sky's. <woof> Today's weather is MOST welcome.

The trip to Strahan, with my guests, was great. Getting there, my Mates GPS took us a way that I'd never been... across the State! So many twists & turns across the Highland Lakes that I felt like a bobble-head. We took in "The Wall" @ Derwent Bridge on our way to Strahan on Thursday, did the "Gordon River Cruise" on Friday followed by an evening 'panto' (pantomime play) and, on Saturday, stopped at Cradle Mountain on our way home.

Sunday was Church for me whilst my guests left for an evening/day @ Port Arthur. They'll be back tonight.

Unfortunately, the penguin tour @ Bicheno was sold out for tomorrow evening AND for the entire week.

The two guests fly out of Launceston on Wednesday with my Mate (the one who drove down) leaving a week tomorrow.

Honestly, that's about it, take care all.

If we get snow it will be Wednesday. Started out at 74˚ this morning before the Norther blew in. The temp has been dropping all day. 39˚ at 9pm forecast to go to 24˚ by morning.
Fountain is drained, faucets covered, citrus is in the garage and sensitive plants covered, potatoes covered with hay.

Way behind on posts. My mom is in the hospital again with congestive heart failure and FLU. The flu has kicked her rear. I honestly don't know whether she'll make it or not. Not looking good at the moment because heart/kidney function knocked down to 34%. Doc says possibly heart catheritization could open a possible blockage, but high chance for renal shutdown.
Her cardiologist will be back tomorrow, will help make decision hopefully. A week ago, she was living on her own, getting around with a cane, and cracking jokes with the waitresses.
Good Morning
It’s 32° under a clear sky with a high of 38 predicted.
Yesterday was another day of going through stuff in the house, lots of old pictures and interesting things.

I think that I might bring one of the apothecary drawer units over and fill it with DVD and BluRay discs, but the CD’s will go into storage in the shop.
Many years ago, I bought one of these, and if I had had more CD's I would have bought a 2nd one and daisy chain them.
It is one of my favorite pieces of audio equipment. You can put it on random if you're in a random mood.

good morning, 34 going to 36 wind 30 MPH gusts feels much colder brrr. More cold weather is on the way next week as well as snow in the FC

Dropped off the van at the mechanic place and one of the kids picked me up. Measured the voltage at the alternator terminal yesterday and found it not charging. Also asked him if he could figure out the interior light issue.

In his YouTube videos he uses Snap On diagnostic scanner as well as Autel and he also uses a scope with several channels hooking up with back probes to the electrical connectors. Interesting to see him go through diagnosing a car that the dealer could not fix
What's the mechanic's Youtube "handle"?

Hope to catch back up, but have to go back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off. Busy busy busy.

Windy as heck down here, temp dropping after being in the mid 70's today. Burrr.

Prayers for our team, our country, Ukraine and Israel.

Good evening all. 51ºF for the start, overcast sky, trace rain in rain gauge, windy. Windy (23-26 MPH), gusts to 38 MPH, sky cleared later in day, and high temp was 65ºF at 4 AM and temp dropped quickly. Low temp is 22ºF. Made coffee to start day, Help setup Chapel, attend, and help tear down. Breakfast with group, then Dash meal delivery which was walking outside for about an hour to deliver 11 meals. Pulled battery from boat, recharged the lowest 2 batteries will hit the third on tomorrow. Made fire in insert, rotated mattress, and made a batch on spaghetti sauce, had spaghetti for dinner.
Bill most people appreciate your not running motorized equipment before noon in Sunday. The most accumulation in Missouri came from thundersnows, thunderstorms that snow. Snow is always heavy wet, and hard to plow. Accumulations up to 24". Nice pic snow looks like powder :)
Jim(youtz) sorry about your wind. Winds here 23-25 MPH gusts up 38 MPH. Welcome to GM thread!
Buppies sorry about the ice on top of the snow. prayers sent.
Bill when air is -40ºF it can't hold enough moisture to snow on it's own.
Ron glad Christmas tree put away, mine is still up. Glad you and Sassy got some exercise today. Hope you got the spaghetti cooked, I made a batch and gave half to stepdaughter/husband. I will be getting some of their meatloaf. Nice cardinal, was he vocalizing when you took pic?
Drew glad good trip to TSC. Sorry about your lawn problems, still have gopher issues here.
Billy hope you were able to get ready for snow. Bet the stores were crowded. Glad you and Della got a hike in, and Della got her swim.
Happy(NC) sorry about your wind, we were windy and like temps here today. Glad tractor started Hope you and dog got your steps in.
Bill hope you enjoyed your seat time plowing snow. And nap was good.
Phil glad you are coping with the cold, and wood shop pellet sotve working better. Glad they found problem with running out of fuel on new tank and fixed it. Hope insurance company gets their act together. Interesting texture on the wood pieces.
Frits sorry about the V-plow not energizing. Hope it's not circuit board. Sounds like a lot of work to replace alternator on your van. Hope you got plow tractor. Socks look nice and warm.
Spike you staying a lot warmer than me, hope you are ready for the temps. Thanks for the pic and info on SiAW.
Mike hope you are ready for snow. Sorry about party. Hope find and get Mr Beaver dealt with. Glad Christmas lights down.
Drew sorry the alpaca wool socks shrank. Hope you get all you snow prep done. Hope you keep the birds happy with the food and a bird bath :)
Paul flay R/C in snow showers is hard core in my book. Dogs and their bones ... Funny sign. Hope you got to the cutting and welding.
Thomas sorry too windy for burn. At least Giants score was respectable, Cowboys managed to pull defeat from the jaws of victory.
Ken enjoy your guests. Nice pic.
Scott(vt) glad good worship this morning. Hope walk was good.
Buppies glad you got the sun shine. No one I know has a sop watch on you :)
PJ hope you didn't get too much snow/ice. Granddaughter near Lambert got several inches and still snowing.
Engineer very similar to thundersnow, narrow band of max accumulation hard to predict exact path. Not unusual to have multiple inch per hour snow rate. Hope you already.
Frits sorry circuit board appears to be problem.
Drew hope you enjoy the snow driving.
David glad you got gate area reworked. Glad good going away party. Hope good football outcome and clean up happened.
Bill glad plowing went well. Hope good trip to North Bay.
Drew the brownies look good! Not on my diet either.
David we averaged 13.9 MPH and only 30 minutes of stop time. I was TIRED when done.
GAH plenty of snow to deal with.
Dennis enjoy your snow . Hope class went well.
Buppies hope not too much freezing rain.
Dennis I agree, snow easier to deal with than ice.
CloverKnollFarms(CKF) Have fun with new blower.
PJ sounds like no snow shortage there! Hope thy call work, doesn't sound like much will get done if they don't call it.
Buppies I had as much trouble with sleet as I did with the ice.
Randy(wag) sounds like quite the trip to Strahan. Hope you all are having as much fun as it sounds like you are.
Billy enjoy your snow.
Don glad you are ready for temps. We have 3-5 inches in forecast.

Coffee is brewing. 19° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 26° with cloudy skies. Sassy and I got our exercise in the house yesterday. She did go outside for her personal care. Never got to making Spaghetti made. Spent way to much time with Xfinity getting my Peacock service working. It's running. But some things still need to be done with my account to fix problems by them closing my mother and wife's email accounts. Did not check my BP after the 3 calls. Going to do my exercises on recumbent bike today.
