Had a real nice day up in the mountains yesterday. First chance I had to go in over a month...withdrawal had kicked in. Found some patched of wild raspberries like yours, Ken. They were good. Saw some deer, and one bear, but it was close to my house on the way home.

I want to keep it mowed.
It has been hayed before, but yesterday learned the guys who previously hayed it and neighbors fields won’t be doing it, they found bigger fields. Neighbors were gripping they need to find someone to mow their fields now.

Good morning! 78˚F before the sun rise with clear skies with a high of 103˚ this afternoon. We are under an "Extreme Heat Advisory" with the heat index reaching 114˚.

I'll do a little hedge trimming, watering and a trip to the gardens to check the cantelopes this morning and the rest of the day indoor activities. The indoor lap pool was actually cool yesterday.

Drew I hope you already have a repairman scheduled for your A/C.

Deer are just a big pest. They eat everything you plant and crash into your vehicle.

Using Propress is the cats meow,no soldiering or smell just have make sure no burrs on cut tubing,only down fall fitting prices. compare to solider fittings.

The plumber said the cordless tool to compress the fitting was 2000 dollars. Looked to be easy to do and as he said has made his life easier and removed the risk of a solder joint not working because of drip of water and he said a wet pipe does not make any difference to the quality of the joint

Good Morning
It’s 72, going into the low 90’s today, no rain or wind forecast.

Yesterday started a surprise on my way to breakfast with the professor.
Came around a bend in the lane and saw this-

So I backed up and took the overland route around it where I saw this-

That was the remaining trunk of the tree that lost half of it a few weeks ago.
At any rate, had a nice breakfast and got to work when I got home. Put the grapple on the tractor, grabbed the Stihl saw and cleaned it up.

You can hardly tell it happened now. Got back to work on the speaker, all the dado work done and dry fitted.

Next interruption was a call from someone with a wet floor in their utility room. I went there expecting a clogged condensate drain on their AC, but ended up replacing the T&P valve on the water heater. Got home in time to eat dinner with grandson and his mom, his dad is in Utah for work.
After dinner grandson helped me put away all the tools and equipment from the day’s adventure, drove him home on the carryall when we were done. I got a chuckle when we went to hop on the Lazer to move it 50 feet into the shop, and he insisted that he needed his ear muffs.

Today will at least start in the shop on the speaker, it’s time to mow already, that might happen today, but tomorrow at the latest. Airport Authority meeting is this evening, and it looks like the Transit Connect deal might happen after all, the seller contacted me and is now willing to accept my offer which factored in the needed repairs.
