a/c won't get house below 78. runs constantly. I changed the filter, doubt that will help.
Will have to call guy who installed it two years ago if no improvement.

^^^^Dang that's not good^^^^
I did get the AC working in my Branson this afternoon, new condenser and dryer installed, vacuumed down, oil added, recharged and working pretty good. Temp out of the vents 45F with the ambient being 85F and sitting in the sun.

Is the unit icing inside...copper line or condenser coil?

The plumber was here this morning and fixed the water leak at the accumulator tank. Pretty neat how they used a battery operated compression tool to crimp the copper tubing.

Using Propress is the cats meow,no soldiering or smell just have make sure no burrs on cut tubing, only down fall fitting prices. compare to solider fittings.

Feel the larger line going into the condenser outside. It should feel like a beer you just took out of the fridge.
Is there condensate dripping from the evaporator drain in the basement?

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low was a balmy 11.5C and it's presently 16.4C... well, 'they' did say that it would be a mild Winter. It's partly cloudy with a steady wind from the NW.

We (MAHW & I) did do the horse transfer from Paddock #1 to #2. Whilst waiting for her to arrive I took care of a few tasks in Paddock #6; disposed of a pademelon carcass (died of natural causes) and sprayed a particularly obnoxious weed (looks like a fuzzy cabbage). I then forked up 4xwheelbarrow's worth of rotting hay & disposed of that.

I'll soon chain-harrow Paddock #1, however I think that I'll also re-harrow #6 as it's still too damp to mulch with the Z-turn.

Anyway, it's 'into town' day for mail/groceries. I figure that I'll also stop by the hardware shop for about 8 links of 'gate' chain, some small shackles and a small pair of bolt cutters. I need to extend a couple of gate chains as, over the years, the wire tension has shifted the gate posts away from a couple of gates.

That's about it, take care all.
