Good morning to all! Low was 26, going up to 47. No precip in the forecast. I'll take the warmer temps though.

Didn't do much at all yesterday. Found a few sites dedicated to the new RV, so spent quite a few hours reading about it. Lots of good tips and information to be had.

We had the burgers last night (which were delicious), but opted for 'tater tots' done on the grill. If you have a chance, try them that way. Even the wifey raves about them. They are done on a tray that is put on the warming rack. Usually about 15 minutes prior to the rest of the food going on the grill, then left on until rest of the food is done. I usually melt some cheddar on them the last few minutes.

Tonights menu: pot roast in the slow cooker with all the veggies. Fried apples for desert.

Gonna run a few errands this morning, then out to the shop for a bit. I just might get those shelves done! (as long as I don't get distracted)

The squirrel video was interesting for sure! Quite the acrobatic geniuses. I wish I had that much time / energy to make stuff like that.... too many other pressing projects.

Time to get moving....
Everyone have a great day!

Still cool today 19F. I have been basically hibernating. My wife has been dragging me out to walk in the afternoons.

Speaking about squirrels this guy built a couple of squirrel obstacle courses in his back yard. The videos are pretty funny. He is also the guy who makes glitter bombs for porch pirates. Youtube is a big help when you are staying in.

Keep warm

Chris

Great video. There’s a second one.

I seem to only get on here well after dark recently as our wonderful spell of dry weather continues. My wife even managed to get the mower out today and cut next door's lawn. I would have suggested putting a few sheep in there while the neighbours were away, except they tend to leave behind one or two tell tale signs ...

Eric, I like reading about your sheep ... ... so I find your your posts on TBN interesting
Bird, I keep thinking I may be boring people when I talk about and post pics of sheep, every week I see a heck of a lot more sheep than people !

Wng, I often find a wren darting in and out of the firewood stack I keep by the house, never been able to see what it is looking for.

I used to bring firewood in a few of days in advance and stack it at the side of the fireplace. Stopped doing that a couple of years ago as we had too many overwintering queen wasps thaw out and start flying around the house. We usually managed to zap them with an electric tennis racket, very effective except the sound of it's high frequency invertor used to drive Max crazy

32° and I’m sitting on porch swing, watching another fire. Didn’t get started till late, this burn mostly old scrap wood pieces that are rotted.

Had in person worship again as all the COVID people have healed.
Have not heard update from my brother on his. My son tested negative yesterday using an at home test.

At least Eric isn’t claiming those are pictures of Wales, cause they look like sheep.

Got to spend quality time with the snow blower today. Seemed to have gotten 4” of snow today.

Lots of empty shelves in the 2 stores we were in this morning. Fortunately Rural King had on box of cat food and some stray cans. So the cats won’t show us the door. Grocery store had 0 cans of cat food.

RK does have tires in stock for the tractor. Lots of online places show no stock. May 31 expected ship date for Carlisle tires to fit.

Everyone stay safe out there,
