Started off by hauling trimmings from neighbors apple tree by to the burn pile.
Then refueled the Kubota.
Did some further grading and compacting at the creek crossing.
Got east, west, and south sides of frog pond sprayed with weed killer. I finished that more than two hours ago so it should be rain-fast by now ...
Got about half of the lower front mowed before I knocked off for lunch.
Woman said the larger tomato cage was starting to lean so we just finished going out and tying it up.
Filled hopper feeder while I was out there, also placed blood meal around perimeter of garden and Deer Scram around the one crabapple tree.
Woman requested refill on the hummer feeder earlier after she noticed him at the window over the kitchen sink so I helped her with that. Saw him at the feeder after that when I came in for lunch.
Deployed the pepper gel spray into a number of groundhog holes earlier.
It's pouring rain currently ... which means the grass mowing will continue unabated into the foreseeable future.
Woman's hibiscus continue to do well:
Also dahlia about to bloom:
Probably no more mowing today, but might be a good time to go work on the azaleas and the rhododendrons as the temperature has now dropped to 73F ...
