rainy weather coming in, showers start shortly and run through tomorrow.

It's really surprising how much rain parts of Texas are getting. Yet our West is having a terrible drought.
RNG, I saw where near you Lake Oroville was pulling most of the houseboats out since the water level was so low they were going to get stuck there.

up in middle of night with sore shoulder but expected that, put ice on it and slathered it with CBD oil. One or both helped.
So while I was up at 2am I worked on a resume/experience list for school board I'm about to join. Have zoom meeting with Head of school this morning as last
part of interview process. I'm glad they are doing their due diligence.

going to be a quiet day in rain and wind. Need to vacuum and find out where large black ants are getting into house. Not many but I don't like any bugs in the house.

Drew are you going to Doylestown Hospital PT? They literally helped me get back on my feet after my accident. I went twice a week for a long time, it started out at home before I was mobile. Can’t remember when I started, but accident was in March, I was still going to PT at Thanksgiving.

Paul, I'm using Peak PT located downtown New Hope, just way more convenient for me. I'm doing twice a week for four weeks but likely will have to go longer than that.

59° right now...high in the low 70's and rain the next couples days...

Good news, COVID test came back negative. Better today (so far) and I got a little food in me yesterday...not much, but the first food in my belly since Sunday. Stomach is pretty sensitive right now, so I'll need to limit my intake for a few days. Stepdaughter got me something called Boost...at least get some nourishment.

I think I'm strong enough to drive (still tire very easily), but not too far. So, sometime today I'll be bringing Bella home. Her ashes will be right along side those of Smedley (my first puppy)

Since I'll be out for a bit, I'll pick up that last belt for the flail mower....I'd screwed up by ordering 2, instead of the required 3.

Been working from home (mandatory until the test results came back), and will probably finish up the week at home

Roy, you're not up early, so hope you are getting quality sleep.

Finally got a chance to split the rest of my last load of firewood yesterday. I had been waiting for the phoebe chicks in the nest above the splitter to fledge, and then firewood never got to the top of my list. Checked the nest three days ago, and no new eggs, but looked yesterday and found 2. So decided to split fast and get out of their way, since egg 3 is due. Then mowed another 1.5 hours and finished, and spread some gravel.

Don, looking forward to seeing the finished corn chips.

Bill, thank you, never heard of using corn meal, read up on it, corn meal attracts the ants but you need to use poison with it

Good morning! 1" of rain last night, 60˚ heading to the upper 70s only. What a nice June we are having.
Roy so I guess it's good new that you just have the flu, strange times. In Texas we would call your test a false negative until you had 2 more negative test, just ask Mom.

Morning all, raining today.
Got pump all fixed up for solar hot water and then my hand pump to fill/pressurize broke. New one on order.

Ron- those cardinals look like they really are having a long discussion. Maybe about bees

L4N - Won't the ants just eat the corn meal?
I use diatomaceous earth and that gets picked up by ants too and brought back to nest and is not a poison, unless you breath the powder in, does not take much though to work.
