Trip to Tractor supply to get some lag screws. Nice that it is available by the pound and they had the sizes I needed

Fished out the table top from the back of the barn and brought it down to the welding shop.
Assembled the legs and shelves upside down. Looking for the drawer parts to mount as well

Good morning, the low is 48 and going up to 64°F. Wind SE 8 mph. Showers.

About 4 A.M. the rain was coming down so hard and pounding off my steel roof that it woke me up.

I have been researching windows 11 and I think I will stay with 10 for the foreseeable future. 11 is too invasive for me.

Today is an energy conservation day for sure.

38F frosty partly cloudy day might reach 60F.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Boo was snoozing this morning with 1 work boot and orange t shirt from the shed.
Plans for today...finally weather in my favor so backpack blower going for long hike once frosty ground no longer,I've learn over the years combo frost and acorns on uneven ground good chance ending up like turtle on it's back. watch good college football game later.

Good Tractor Morning,
Vt, 34 going to 60 or so. Looks to be another clear and crisp fall morning.

Yesterday morning I played with my radio gear and activated Lake St Catherine. My fingers got pretty cold in the beginning sending Morse code but I managed to preserver. Came home before lunch and had a bit to eat and then cut the lawn for the last time. Need to pull the battery out this weekend and put it in the barn.

Today looks like more radio time in the morning and probably some shop time in the afternoon. I’m still working on the rocker spindles best I can remember

They had been wanting well over a 20% increase in property taxes, now it looks like it may be 12-15%.

Wow Lou, that’s crazy I’m sure the residents are not too happy about that

Let the wood stove go out last night, house got to warm.

46 this morning and making a run at 80 this afternoon under sun.

R&R yesterday. Head isn't in the right space for much thinking work.
Usual dog walking and worked a little on getting the new harness in place.
Not sure about today yet.

How did you put the bends in the legs? Very nice looking table.

sun is coming up but still mighty cold out
got my fleece on, plus a jacket and my hat
just can't find my motivation
but those tomato plants aren't going to hop into the pile in the woods
all by themselves, now you all just get up and walk on over there please...

decided I really did need to put the leaf vac on, so that's on my list.
first I need to grease the mower deck again
and change oil and filter in rv

can't wait to see pics of David's nice new tractor and flail in action.

Good Morning
45° outside, clear sky with a high of 65 and continued sunshine.

Yesterday was a long day, left the house before 5am and got home after 8pm. Did get a break in the middle of the day to come home and do some chores, but a long day nonetheless.
I didn’t totally escape captain duties, we switched roles every leg. Nice plane, almost brand new.

Today is with the band, we are playing at a fall festival in Buckingham again. We were there two weeks ago for Saturday and Sunday, it’s just today this time. It will be cold to start, we play from noon-4 under a tent outside.

Tomorrow it’s back to pilot for a trip to Asheville, then I get to return to grounds maintenance, farmer and tinkerer duties.

Probably unload the trailer this evening with the help of the band to carry stuff upstairs, not much planned after that.
