mostly_gas; I am no aviation expert by any stretch of the imagination, nor am I a pilot, but I think the cirrus pilot overshot 17R (the shorter runway). But it may have been ATC that screwed up and routed them both to 17L. That is where the recordings will come in handy.

I listened to the LiveATC recordings, and it seemed pretty clear that it was all on the Cirrus pilot.

Fresh pot of coffee is ready to pour. 38° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 71° with cloudy skies in PM. Grocery shopping went well yesterday. Grass did not get mowed. My aunt and I decided to drive around the community where she lives. Checked out the parks and some of the older section of the village and township. It's main industry was Michigan Seamless Tubing for years. Company is still there. No excuses to or delays. Grass needs to be mowed today. No other plans. Mask mandate has been lifted if you have gotten the Vaccine in Michigan at 9am this morning. But many stores are not lifting that requirement. Large group gathering mandates are still in place.

Bird, good plan on watching roof getting replaced.

Mowing went well yesterday. Need to change blades on mower and lube. Kitchen range exhaust died last night. Looks like I'll need to do some yoga moves to get up to it...probably have to pull the oven/range unit out. It's an old fancy hood and so worried the fan may be hard to find a replacement.

Buppies, hope you get those jobs you were driving around to bid.

Yep...if you watch that video I posted, it has the Live ATC recording and you can see on the radar tracks that the Cirrus overshot the flightpath they should have been on...

36° right now...high in the low 70's today. Looks like a good day for some outdoor work.
Chores: No dump run...not enough to justify that. May have to hit the bank for checks since we'll need to pay state and federal taxes (double whammy week when it comes to taxes!!)
Need to grease the front axle of the Deere, then drop the chipper and rig the flail mower. The field needs a trim...maybe the lawn too

MIL cancelled out for today due to mulch being delivered to her place, I remain envious, none at mine but
landscaper said would be done by end of week. Well........

I'm going to try out my Makita line trimmer today, worried I bought one too light weight, shall see.
House painters finished yesterday, did a nice job, so now painting, electric and a/c finished, all good.

shoulder still hurts 2 1/2 weeks in. Hopefully no more than one more week of this, but then Helga the Torturer starts

They mate about the same as Humans. Some mate for life while others look for other mates,
