I have always used the bucket and back dragged, too. I had my grapple on the FEL, so put on the rake and tried it. I like it much better, except my neck is sore from looking back over my right should for so long. Both the bucket and the rake are 6', but maybe the flex of the rake allowed a bit more control, and dragging forward allowed better accuracy, at least for me. Either way will get the job done, but I'll use the rake again next time.Gravel is cheap here, Billy, but the trucking, not so much. How did it go with the landscape rake to spread the gravel? I've always back dragged with a floating bucket, not always with good results.
I’ll be back in the shop this morning, hopefully the sun and breeze will dry things out so I can mow later today, as it desperately needs it.
