6 women out of close to 7 million

one in a million
one thing if you're winning something, another if you're losing...
6 in 7 million is pretty good odds of something not happening to you. Yet people still play the lottery.

Here are the death rates from 2019 from official government sources.

And here are the top five causes of death that year, per 100,000:
Heart disease - 161.5
Cancer - 146.2
Unintentional Injuries - 49.3
Chronic lower respiratory disease - 38.2
Stroke - 37

You are far more likely to get taken out by suicide (13.9/100,000) than from the J&J vaccine, and with both, you get to make the decision.

And here are some figures for 2020.
No surprise that Covid-19 was the third leading cause of death in 2020, with 345,313. With over 5 million dead of it by now, it's probably the number 1 killer in 2021.

Based on that, it makes no sense to not take a vaccine that has a 90% chance of keeping you alive if you catch CV19. Yet people will still choose not to get vaccinated. It's a free country, and I respect everyone's choice, but as David pointed out, they need to respect my choice to not be around them.

Dropped the chipper's PTO driveshaft off at the dealer's today. They'll be replacing the pull ring type yoke with a push pin type on the tractor end and shortening the shaft by 2"-2½". The implement end with a slip clutch has a ring type yoke too, but since I connect that to the chipper before hooking to the tractor, I have more leverage...once it's connected, it stays on until I stash the chipper in the shed for the winter.
I think I wrote in an earlier post the drive shaft was marginally too long for the 4052's 3PH. I wasn't about to take the expensive risk of damaging the tractor's PTO drive...a couple inches shorter will still provide plenty of overlap
Also order the two outside rear view mirrors.
Hopefully, I can pick up the driveshaft and mirrors Friday, but since we're looking at between 6 and 7 inches of snow Thursday into Friday, I doubt there will be much outdoors work this weekend

The extender uses Lora, that should go 700 ft..

700 feet only gets me halfway up my lane. But- it would get me to my son’s barn which has WIFI. What if any functionality would be lost by not having it on my network, and using the internet to get from his network to mine?

You can add it to a WiFi network you have access to. It sends message to their server running on Amazon web, and it then sends you the email and text. I can’t say for sure 700 ft will work, but Lora is for long range transmission.

Their website says over 1200 ft and they tested at 1600 ft line of sight.

Or as Med Scape compared: The incidence of a blood clot from taking birth control pills has the same odds as J&J vaccine
and the odds getting Rhabdomyolysis from a statin are 1 in hundred thousand (10 times greater).

For those that think the odds are not acceptable.

Got some seat time playing in the mulch pile today. Potatoes are starting to bloom.

49 right now...high in the mid to upper 60's today...

Lent my neighbor my aerator (48" Agri-Fab pull behind) and two 42 lb. suitcase weights so he could hit some areas that needed it. Quite impressed with the performance of the machine...I'll be doing my lawn in the next week or two

Mostly_gas asked
Roy good luck getting mirrors, will you need to snow blow?
Doubt it...I'll either hit it with the bucket or rig the front blade.
