Been good day so far...got Covid 19 appointment for first shot in couple weeks,able clean BIG section limb/branches before the ground got soft,spread load of gravel section where Mrs. likes to park.

Looks like good grill will be fire up hotdogs hamburgers for dinner than just take it easy.

Mornin,
Uncle fell a few days ago and he broke his hip. Not good, but he is very positive.

Alien - hope the wifes eye issue works out ok.

I was canoeing on the Zambezi river many years ago. Won;t do that again. Hippos tried to take us out and guides took off, fast. I actually had blood on my hands from paddling so hard.

I saw a documentary where hippos kill 3000 people a year. I keep well away from creatures like that.

Good evening to everyone! Took me a while to catch up on the on-going's.....

The trees here are popping their buds.... of course, we are now forecasted to get 6"+ of snow tomorrow night.....

Well, I have had a major setback... last week the knee progress started going in reverse... after PT, the tendons on the back of my knee were "popping" out of the normal channel they should ride in. Kept getting worse over the weekend. Today, I went to PT and they refused any therapy, due to the return of swelling, pain, and decreased range of motion.....

Just what I didn't want to hear..... They are concerned I may have a blood clot restricting blood flow and causing the inflammation.

I am going for an evaluation first thing tomorrow.....

Talk about being depressed.....

Sorry to hear that, but maybe the PT just caused inflammation and R&R will get you back on track.

Bad luck, LS...hope it's not a clot.

Got my chores finished yesterday (digging sand out of the creek for my path, and splitting the rest of the firewood I cut the other day) so I could go hiking today. Had a great hike up the mountain on Buck Ridge Trail, and back down on the Buck Hollow Trail...a long hike, but worth it. Found one last snow patch, and the first mountain hepatica (wildflower) of the spring for me. Nice waterfalls/cascades and moss covered boulders. Also passed 5 other happy hikers.
