I managed to fire up the tractor for a few hours yesterday and it was heavenly...

Hmmmm....I have always thought the plural of lightning was "lightninged"....did a Google search and there seem to be a lot of differing opinions.

What do the rest of you call it? My wife says it's "lightning" both singular and plural.

55 and a few clouds here, should be a nice day to ride. We shall see...

I don't want to go in today... In addition to not liking my job, I just learned the guy I work with is two faced (says great stuff to me, then tells my boss something else), and it is speed trap H3LL on my commute. I just last Friday got my 3rd speeding ticket in 8 months or less. I've only had 4-5 tickets in my ENTIRE LIFE befor this job.

I am actually scared to drive to work!!!

I'm not whining, I did the speeding. There are so many different speed limit areas, and traffic is frustrating, and sometimes I get distracted and yes those are all excuses. I did it. Now I need to NOT DO IT for 1.5 hours each way EVERY DAY.

Part of the problem is I commute during the non-commute hours and enforcement is cranked up during those hours.

NOBODY on my route drives the speed limit, NOBODY and running with traffic gets me every time. :mur:

I will stop b!tching now... Sorry for venting guys...

For many of us this is Holy Week culminating in Easter on Sunday, so if you are like me in that regard, have an awesome Holy Week (even though it can get hectic).

32 here, going to be a nice day later on, warmed up to 52 late yesterday afternoon and I put 2 hours on the JD mowing my barnyard. As I do at the beginning of every month, I recorded the mileage of our vehicles:

Not April fooling you guys, but last month I drove my Buick 120 miles, the GMC 80. What with $4 per gallon gas, I am really happy I need to drive so few miles.

31 and going for 58, according to the weather thingy. I am driving about 100 miles per week now, vs 800+ when I was working. Gas prices don't affect me much. My wife has cut her commute from 50 miles to less than 10. (roundtrip) I have turned down several offers to return to work, as didn't want to make a long commute. Local jobs here basically suck, this is basically a rural area, and local companies don't pay very well.
