Just got back from younger daugher's home. There were 6 of us for Thanksgiving Dinner and only had enough food for maybe 25 or 30 people. But it was sure good, and a very nice visit. Four of us kept our masks on except when actually eating.

Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving.

I can never cook a Thanksgiving dinner for less the 20 people. Same thing with a Christmas dinner.

I've tried and it just doesn't seem that I can do it.

We had a small gathering for christmas dinner last year. There were 12 of us total for dinner. Each kid went home with enough leftovers for two meals...... for there families. Plus my wife and I had enough for three meals left in the fridge for the two of us. Not to mention four different dessert options for a week

My when was in 06 driver roll thru stop sign left ankle took it hard,6 months cussing before walking good again.
Sold 2017 U-Glide 2018 since wife and I felt riding wasn't as safe as it use to be around here,but kept the chopper I put together and take her spin several times years.

Stuffed with turkey, dressing, mash potatoes, gravy, green beans, cole slaw, olives. I skipped sweet potatoes.

SIL brought 3 pieces of pumpkin pie and enough food for three people.
Couldn't possibly eat the pie. Yet...

Very nice day inside, considering it was a very damp dreary Thanksgiving outside. The high was supposed to be in the mid-40's, but it never got above the mid to upper 30's. All told, a typical November day...

Otherwise, nice day...no turkey but some very good chili and some very nice drinks (screwdrivers for me). No TV other then some tractor and implement related YouTube videos (watched a few on the Woodmaxx WM-8H chipper, which I really didn't need to, since I have one currently stored in the shed and used quite a bit during the warmer months). Great chipper, if you have need for one.
The women are in bed, dog is sleeping on the sofa...so i have the house pretty much to myself. Probably watch a movie tonight...

Actually the furry kids got good helpings of everything except the corn and pineapple. Then came back drooling for more.

Good looking bike! How long is that front?
When I was very young we put a 36” fork on a 650 BSA and old Pan head Harley. Couldn’t turn them around in a forty acre field. That was in the day of big sissy bars and German helmets.

I made dry rub country style ribs in the insta pot for our dinner, we are doing traditional dinner Saturday.

Of course the first thanksgiving was likely duck, seal and lobster, and the five deer the Indians brought, but no proof a turkey showed up.
