Good morning!!!!

No worries Kyle. I've learned my lesson about trusting people, and should have done the van work myself. Even if I had to do some of it over again in the learning process, it would have been done correctly and in less time.

The last power outage ended at 12:27 PM yesterday, as logged by the solar power control computer. Didn't run the generator except for the normal Friday exercise period, all done automatically. I do find myself scheduling activities that need a lot of electrical power for the peak sun hours of the day; it's a use it or lose it situation with solar once the battery bank is fully charged. Doesn't always work out, especially when it's hot and I need to run the A/C overnight. When I was off the grid during the fires earlier this year, I did use the generator to keep the battery bank charged, but only put four hours on the generator during that time. During a two day outage last year about this time, the little Honda generator ran 25 hours keeping the 'fridge cold and running the TV and lights at night. Now the battery bank takes care of those loads easily, and no messing around with gasoline and patch cords. So far the solar power system is the best purchase I've made in 2020!

Good to hear your system is doing well, hope the techs can tweak it to the rest of your expectations.

Good morning. It's 53° with a 12 mph north wind here and our high will be only about 69°.

When the front came thru, late yesterday afternoon, the temperature dropped from 83° to 61° in about 20 minutes. Winds were gusting to about 30 mph.

We finalized our deal, to replace our sold Polaris XP700, yesterday and brought home our new PR XP 1000 Crew "Texas Edition".

The difference between it and our 13 year old PR is amazing. It's way more powerful, much quieter, with great seats. I took it out, after dark, last evening and the LED headlights are really bright.

I went online and ordered a set of rear view mirrors for it.

I was going to put our 15 gallon 12 volt sprayer in the bed and finish spraying perimeter fence lines but .. that will wait until the wind goes down.

Bought a cargo bed mat for it, to keep things from sliding around so .. will need to take it down to the shop, remove the cargo tie downs in the corners of the bed, put in bed mat, then install cargo tie downs thru the mat. I rarely used the cargo tie downs in our previous Ranger .. so I might not even re-install them for now. That would make cleaning out BP the bed much easier if the mat could be quickly removed?

Hope everyone has a great start to your weekend.

Prayers to all.

That thing looks great, I hope it serves you well. I'd be interested to hear how well the suspension works. No dump bed?

It did cool down quick. I took a my daughter and a friend to the football game last night....sitting on aluminum bleachers with a stiff cold breeze...had us all chilled to the bone. Out of the wind, it felt great.

It'll only make right turns...…..can't go left.

Now that, was funny....thanks for the guffaw laugh.

Yes, I see that! Some of the prices are scary...

Roy, that cab looks well laid out.

Congrats on your license Drew, safe trip today.

More mindblowing pics, 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

Glad to hear bleeding is under control, Randy

Rip, I’m in same class, not much of a welder. Keep saying I’m going to practice but never get to it.

Nice looking Polaris, Rick.

Ted, I suspect they could, but I’ve taken steps along the way.
The whole container sits under a carport type roof.
The only direct sun exposure is the side getting the main door and window. That is morning only and mostly protected by the lanai cover I put up previously. I think the T111 will help as well. It will be painted Balcony Rose same as house. I am using a cellulose foam board insulation inside under the sheetrock.
I’m hoping the 2 6 ft doors and the windows each end give sufficient air movement.
Our temp extremes are 58-82, but mostly high 60’s to 70’s.
I’m hoping it will be fine.

RNG, no current plans for the 36x80 piece removed yesterday. Tucked away for future.
The larger 72x80 piece coming out today I have delusions of possibly rebuilding deck of my rotary cutter. Of course that would entail improving my non existent plasma and welding skills.

Always glad to read how well your system is performing, especially low generator use.

Nice mirrors Ted.

I wish my tractor seat lifted, I miss that especially when cleaning out debris. Someday I will figure out how to mod it.

Rick, besides the logo on the seats what makes it a Texas edition?

Nice paint, 14" ground clearance, 29" Maxxis tires, 11" suspension travel, roof included, standard LED head lights ....

46F and cloudy out @ 15:00, supposedly headed up to a high of 48F.

Late start ... went to bed early, had hard time falling asleep and finally was just about to drift off and the front came through ... which started the window shades rattling around in the wind ... which woke the cat up ... At that point I was awake ... so I stayed up until around 07:00 until I went back to bed.

Fedex dropped off the wet sandblaster kit a little bit ago, followed by Amazon delivering the hose-fed parts cleaning brush for the parts washer. They are supposed to deliver the replacement pump by 21:00. Also have some Rust-Oleum Wipe New on order to redo the plastic on the Kubota but that's not due in until Tuesday.

Did not get final cut done on grass ... but it has grown enough that I'll definitely hit it one more time before putting the mower away ... probably on one of the coming nice days when the high is supposed get close to 60F. Did get the MMM cleaned off though ...

Today will be an inside day here at the house - will take inventory to see what I have in the way of leftovers and then cut the wood for a couple of roost boxes, a large sunflower seed feeder, and a nut feeder for the tree rats. Hopefully get some gluing/assembly done on those as well.

Need to get the furnace filter reinstalled, now that it's dried out.

Depressurize house water system and check charge on pressure tank.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...

It does have dump bed Kyle.

David, at least you guys can weld. Every time I tried to learn how to weld, I got a massive headache from it. I leave the welding to the guys that don't get headaches from it.
