Good morning!!!!

The quick hitch is on the 3PH, but the adjustable lift link (for leveling) won't rotate to adjust. I sprayed PB Blaster on it and hope it frees up.

PB Blaster did the trick!! Leveled the quick hitch...but since I've been drinking (mild buzz) and still watching an old Czech SF movie (Ikarie XB-1...better known as "Voyage to the End of the Universe" in 1963... Love these 60's SF movies!), I'll get back into it tomorrow morning.
Saturday is normally my day of kickin' back after a week of working...but sometimes I actually do something after the usual morning dump run...
Did spend some hours getting familiar with the tractor's controls and such...most is pretty intuitive. Did find out how nice the sound system is with a Chieftains CD (Chieftains is an Irish band...around for a long time...). I was surprised how good the sound is.
Tonight is supposed to drop to 32 degrees...think I'll plug the tractor in...with the extension cord I bought this morning.

Have a great rest of Saturday, Troops!!

At this point it’s just a hole.

And I’m taking a lunch break.
Outdoor Circle was a bust. After waiting 2 hours in line only 3 varieties left, none we wanted.

Nice to see what everyone does staying busy.
Top pop, hope arm heals fast. I’m on Eliquis also, so even a little scratch bleeds like crazy.

Good luck on the Steiner. Hope you get it picked up ok.

This morning I realized I was late paying 2 credit card bills. I could have scheduled them a couple weeks ago and didn’t, then forgot. Only a day late, but will surely get hit for interest, maybe a late fee. I went and paid the remaining balance.
Then went out to mow leaves again. More oaks leaves in back now. Mowed around house only.

Used backhoe to dig a snowball shrub out, got way too big. Planted small section back where it was, planted other 2 larger sections at edge of woods. Since I had tractor out, dug some small trees out where I took down the fence a couple months ago. The shrub puller chain didn’t work on them.

Ran across this old photo of me at twelve, almost 13, standing on the edge of a spring on my aunt and uncle’s farm in Northern Alabama. Summer 1965.

after 14 hour day, finally home. What a horrible drive down to VA, huge traffic jams and construction near DC, Route 66 heading West out of DC was a parking lot due to 20 miles of
road rewidening. I've never seen so many excavators working on one project. Can't even imagine what that whole thing will cost, but drive took 5 1/2 hours. Came back on Route 15 up to PA turnpike, what a marvelous difference and a pleasant drive. Almost ten hours of bouncing around in that Jeep was just too much for me.
I have a lot of unpacking to do tomorrow for sure.

Toppop, hope your arm gets better soon. Great pic, you haven't changed a bit! ;)
Rick, super nice UTV, hope it runs well for you.
Kyle, good luck with the Steiner, looks like a real find to me. Great project to work on.
Roy, glad your hitch works well now. Sounds like you have an impressive piece of machinery there.

The sirens of sleep are calling me...

Oh how I would love to have a spring like that...handsome kid you were. :)

Sodamo, you deserve a break. Sorry about the waste of time.

I'm no welder. I weld "gorilla welds". Big, ugly and hopefully strong as heck. Cool videos on youtube by 6061.com showing how to make projects with aluminum. Some of the best videos on there, no lollygagging or hype. Just getting after it. But if you notice, his coordination of feeding the filler rod, is maybe the most important aspect of it all...IMO.

Thinking about it, the Steiner 230 could possibly be a gasoline engine....It looks like all the dash panels on the parts website seem to have a hole for the glow plug idiot light, and they all have similar intake filters....time will tell. I need a come-along winch to get it up the ramp onto my trailer. I guess I might look at HF.

Don was right! I trimmed back my tomato plants in my garden, and started watering the poor decrepit wilty things, and now I have about 15-20 silver dollar sized green tomatoes. Hope it doesn't freeze. They have a lot more blooms too. I believe I read somewhere where our first annual freeze is usually early December down here.
