62 right now...high in the upper 70's and sunny today.
I wrote about my kidney function test being OK...got the official word on the hospital patient portal this morning. Hopefully, the CT scan results will be available this afternoon...
CT Scan results are in!
No issues, no cancer!
Only thing recommended was a urologist visit to check a swelling of my bladder wall.

I'd been informed the results (early this morning) were sent to my local doctor, but no specifics. I must admit, I was somewhat anxious most of the day until my doctor called me on the drive home

Time for a beer!!!

Great news Roy! I might have a beer too for you!

70 high of 93 very humid today storms possible

Happy belated anniversary Mostly

Roy hope results come back positive

Prayers for Kyles daughter, riptides, MFW and his move, Jay and wife, PJ and loss of Uncle, Drew and all others silent or spoken our country

Good prayers Buppies.

Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Mostly Gas....(does your wifey know she's "Mrs. mostly gas"?) hee hee

Good evening all. 71F for the start, rain, light breeze. .9 inch in rain gauge + 4 in dumped out 4.9 in last 24 hours. Light to moderate wind, overcast to mostly cloudy sky, and high temp 81F. Today is 43 wedding anniversary, start with Men's meeting then walk with wife, then she came with me to Costco to get her present a new TV to replace the one that turns itself off every so often. Got the remotes reprogrammed. Few more issues to finished but she is happy.

Dennis, nice pics and explanation of what you are doing with the trannie.
Eric sorry about the new skin color, wonder if the blue crew is looking for help?
Drew that kind of heat makes my days shorter. Might consider lawn service till you get something more permanent.
Billy Paid 1.759 for gas at the Frisco Costco. Hope you get the mower serviced and coffee roasted
Ron seems like always fun to see old houses, hope Sassy liked her bath, Goldenrod has most of my family sneezing
Bird you got a lot more rain than me today

Thanks for the prayers Team!

72 and fog is burning off. Looking for 90 and humid.

PJ, sounds like your uncle was a special man. Sorry for your loss and pain.

Got the 200 hour maintenance done...always surprises me how long these take...half a day, and then did some mowing...so now need to clean out the crud from the mower deck and finish mowing today, once things dry. So didn't get time to roast yesterday, so will this morning. Had a blacksnake welcome me back to the toolshed after mowing by hanging on the door when I opened it...good to get some heart muscle workout.

sudden heart muscle workout, no good. When a movie has a quick scary loud part, we call that a "jump scare".

70°F and .01 inches rain.
Another constrained day ahead. When you really pay attention it is surprising how much activity involves stressing the back, turning, twisting, bending, lifting, etc.
I find it interesting that I seem to be having more discomfort in the morning rather than later. 1 ibuprofen in AM gets me thru.

May some more time with the drone.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Sorry about the back strains.

IBUPROFEN, my buddy just had his annual wellness check, aged 57, previous kidney cancer (removed), takes BP med, and the doc said all is well with blood work. He told his doctor that he has frequent intense shoulder/neck pain and that ibuprofen helps....Doctor told him he could take up to 16 ibuprofen a day, with NO ill effects. I was the one who told him after he lost a kidney to back off the stuff. He said the doctor said I was wrong.... So he says he's only going to take it on the bad days.

Good morning to all! It's 12:30 here and reading 89 outside. Supposed to hit 90 today and tomorrow. Cool down starts Monday, with a high temp of 67 by Wednesday. Maybe a chance of rain Tuesday as the front comes across.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR AND MRS MOSTLY!

Late start posting today. The headache came back with a vengeance yesterday. Nothing would help.... I only got a couple hours sleep, pacing around the house the rest of the time. I almost woke up the wifey to ask her to take me to the hospital. It got really bad.... thought I was having a brain bleed.

By this morning, the right side of my Forehead / face was so tender and painful, I could barely touch it. I got a cold pack, laid back down, and started getting some relief. A couple of times, I heard like an "internal squeak", each time the pain getting better. I apparently fell asleep for almost 5 hours afterwards. This was the worst sinus headache that I've ever experienced! Something clogged and the pressure just built up....

I still have a very slight annoying headache, but tolerable. At least I know where it is coming from....I was really starting to get scared.....

Not going to do much today after all this.... I 'm still dragging.... maybe take a nap....

That sounds horrible. Please go get a check up. Hope it was just sinus from Ron's goldenrod. Brain aneurysms are nothing to balk at.

This is where church is so important. Most people look at church as something to go to and that’s wrong. Church is a family, you congregate to worship and fellowship together. I walked into a church in Maui and knew the first person I met, he had visited a friend here in MD once and we met.
We agree. And we only let sinners come to our church.

OK, get this....My wifey says she read it's only going to get up to 85F tomorrow....and my daughter immediately replied "I'm going to wear a sweater!!!" After a month of triple digit real temps, and with +110F "feels like" temps, I tend to agree with her.

Good evening, just an update on the headache.... almost totally subsided. Still a little prevalent when I bend over, but otherwise ok. Took a very warm shower this evening, and a bunch of "stuff" was able to drain from the sinuses. I will monitor closely....

Roy, that is fantastic news! I am sure you are relieved!

Now I have to ask for the group for collective support and prayers.... my daughter just called and reported that she had a mammogram done today.... an abnormal mass was found and she is scheduled for an immediate biopsy/ lumpectomy. The surgeon is waiting for an "official" radiology report, due back tomorrow. He will then determine the next steps. She is a single mom with three children...

..

I had a very bad headache like that last year when I had pneumonia, and then came down with GBS. I went to ER because I thought it might have been a stroke, since I was losing my walking ability. I had head ct scan done. They later determined GBS. The bad headache was just a headache.

72F and partly cloudy @ 22:15, headed down to around 57F for an overnight low.

Whistle pig out enjoying all the grass that has greened up with all the rain:

Got ginkgo tree planted and debris picked up before heading in to get flu shot.

Some of the local crew seeing me off as I head out:

IMG_2032 copy.jpg

Picked up Cold Cut Combo on way home, ate half of it when I got back.

Then headed out to do some more work on northwest planting bed, pulling weeds along the edge, spreading out screened compost.

Grabbed another bale of peat moss and hauled it over to prepare the soil for the rhododendrons.

Put on stump/shrub bucket and was going to dig out some rhododendrons and transplant but noticed a leak in one of the loader hoses so put it off until tomorrow after I change out the hose.

About that time The Woman had gotten home and I went ahead and came inside to finish up that sandwich.

Hope everyone had a great day.

Covid update: Cooke 335 confirmed cases, 34 active cases, Montague 135 confirmed cases, 14 active cases, Grayson 1532 confirmed cases, 107 active cases.
David quit a change in the area you are mowing, with all the rain you get quit a challenge.
Drew hope you can find house and mower that suits you.
Buppies thank you, not even that late :)
Eric in May, 2015 this area got 25 inches rain for the month, almost the annual rainfall. Whole lot of flooding going on during the month/ Thanks for the well wishes
David that is sad.
Buppies, well said
Ron not sure a better view of the enemy is what Dr ordered :) we got Samsung un55tu700dfxza
Drew it is harder to interact with Covid around, and once therapeutics and/or vaccine available, we will have to get used to closer interaction. Interesting no garages,
I need a garage for project, bike work, car work etc.
Thomas, thank you.
Billy snake surprise is not how I want my heart work out.
Ken thank you.
David I would think that if mornings are the worse than you not likely overstressing everything.
RNG you ex-mechanic has quite the reputation, see you are not the only one he was able to over sell his talent and knowledge. That has to be frustrating about the scope. :confused3:
PJ thank you
RNG Watch the video surprised at the results, maintenance crew at work changed to Kroil based on better results, But they probably tap the blots/nuts before spraying. :confused3:
Ted sorry about the headache, never experience anything that bad. Thank you for the congrats
Don Impressive sized roots to deal with, and in this heat :(
Roy great news on the scan
Dennis thanks
Frits(M7040) Have fun picking out the trees.
Dennis cool story
prayers for all, especially Drew/move, Jay/Peg, Kyle's daughter, Mike, David(moss)/move/sale

Totally agree. she is aware and we have discussed, but basically she only attends, but doesn’t really join. Guess that’s probably easy in the big city (nyc).
