Good morning to all! It's 12:30 here and reading 89 outside. Supposed to hit 90 today and tomorrow. Cool down starts Monday, with a high temp of 67 by Wednesday. Maybe a chance of rain Tuesday as the front comes across.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR AND MRS MOSTLY!

Late start posting today. The headache came back with a vengeance yesterday. Nothing would help.... I only got a couple hours sleep, pacing around the house the rest of the time. I almost woke up the wifey to ask her to take me to the hospital. It got really bad.... thought I was having a brain bleed.

By this morning, the right side of my Forehead / face was so tender and painful, I could barely touch it. I got a cold pack, laid back down, and started getting some relief. A couple of times, I heard like an "internal squeak", each time the pain getting better. I apparently fell asleep for almost 5 hours afterwards. This was the worst sinus headache that I've ever experienced! Something clogged and the pressure just built up....

I still have a very slight annoying headache, but tolerable. At least I know where it is coming from....I was really starting to get scared.....

Not going to do much today after all this.... I 'm still dragging.... maybe take a nap....

Drew, interesting concept, you own, maintain and pay taxes and insurance on you home but don't own the land it is leased out to you for around $500 a month. which is like the HOA fee here but 5X more. The question I would need to know is "Does an entity outside the USA own the property?" I was very surprised to find one of the 55+ communities in Texas was owned by a company in another country. (This might entail a county courthouse trip.)

The HOA guidelines are online and it does not look like you will be able to add a carport.

Also enter the community and forums and read the reviews. I looked for all the reviews I could find about our neighborhood and 99% of the bad reviews could be directly attributed to the person not reading the guidelines before buying and then they get upset when rules are enforced on them. Everyone thought the rules did not apply to them even though they must sign at closing they have read the guidelines and agree to them.

Sitting on the back porch now watching the rain .37, a light rain but a welcome rain. 71˚F.

I did a few more hours of trenching and root cutting with the sawzaw before the rains came. I'm at the half way mark. At the top of the pic are a few of the roots I cut out.

Don, thanks for doing the research. While you were sending the above, I was waiting ten minutes for the 18mb document my realtor sent me with all the rules.
Nothing in there I'd have issue with, but nowhere did I see any mention of backup generators. That I will ask about.
I also did not find any financial info on the homeowners association, another thing to ask about. 600 homes times $6k annually creates substantial cash flow...

In the interim, I got another rental prospect, on a local horse farm which my brother will go check out tomorrow. That one has a 60 day termination clause which is attractive in that if one of these community homes becomes available with a garage I can move quickly. I will hear more in a day or two but am pretty sure this one is sold.

96/104 out now, good thing humidity is fairly low

Ted, that sounds really nasty. Maybe you should see a doctor no matter what for some diagnostic tests and make sure it's just sinus...
Sorry you went through this

Spend longer than I plan for trimming but it's down and tomorrow get the lawn etc. Labor Day short hair cut, also started next project wire brushing etc. Woods back blade...gonner take while.
Not much plan for this evening other than dinner setting on the deck waiting for critters and stars.

Enjoy your evening all.

The Unifi network guru just released another YouTube video in which he designs three versions of a wifi setup for a large ranch style home. Seems like a great blueprint for those interested in exploring the Unifi way of gittin' 'er done...

So you upgrading to the $5k version ?

Ted, I think I’ll keep my back pain over your headache. That sounds terrible. I agree with Drew, get a look see by Dr.

That looks like a good workout, Don.

Maybe I missed it, but are you trying to keep the roots you're digging up from invading the raised bed, or your crops from escaping? Or are you more worried about moles and other burrowing vermin?
