Good morning to all! Low of 53, going up to 86 today, another good chance of showers or storms.
Yesterday, the rain dance may have helped, but not here. When I left the house for some errands, it started pouring about 2 miles away. Continued the whole time I was in the local town ( 7 miles from home) for about an hour. Driving back home, the road was dry at about the same spot it was before. Storms / rain totally encircling the house, but not one drop. They recorded a half inch of rain in that town, over an inch down in Albuquerque. I feel cheated....
Drew glad to see you posting, hang in there, keep your spirits high, take it one day at a time. Powerful dream...
Eric, I had tried to tempt the rain last Saturday by pouring the concrete... apparently concrete does not have a high enough lime content to trigger rain. I hope you have better luck with your mortar mix....:confused2:
Just like RNG, I am glad that there are very few BooBoo encounters here. There are plenty in the National Forest area, just a few miles away, but they really stay there. There is that occasional stray bear that raids a trash can, but is a rare occurrence. Skunks, raccoons, and coyotes are the norm.
RNG, nice to hear of your progress on the PV project! Any pics? Gotta have some action shots....
Today is new shed day! Should be here before noon. Hopefully will be set into place without difficulties. I have to take down a couple sections of the picket fence in the backyard area, and pull one post before they get here.
So, gotta get in gear .....
Everyone have a great day!
