Mrs. went for short tractor ride and made smart @ss remark in fun tho.."Tractor has more options than your pickup, tilt steering wheel cruise control arm rest...

That sounds to me like permission for you to go get a new pickup truck, Thomas.

Seems only fitting, you know, to go along with her new tractor!:laughing:

I'm gradually switching over to NoSpills, too, Paul.

One thing I've noticed, though. If the gas filler is on the side of a car, opening horizontally rather than vertically, you can't easily fill it with those right angle nozzles. At least, I haven't figured out how to do it.

The five gallon size is also heavy enough that it's awkward to hold the button down with one hand and support the weight with the other. I keep a 2.5 gallon version around, and have been known to fill that from one of the 5ers, then use the smaller can to fill the little gas tanks.

I really, really like the 1 gallon can I use for chainsaw premix. In that application, they really are no spill.

NoSpill makes a flexible plastic (vinyl?) spout extension that lets you fill the truck with those cans. I seem to remember that they are kind of expensive for what they are. You could probably use a short piece of vinyl tube.

Weird weather day, 66 by 10 AM, then a line of storms dropped it to 53 with strong winds, then sunny afternoon and up to 65, then another shower, then sun.
We took Gracie for our afternoon walk.

Good evening. Another day that barely got to 51 with clouds and a steady breeze. But tomorrow is supposed to be decent. 68 and partly sunny.

Got pizza for dinner tonight. Local place. First time I have stepped foot in a bar or restaurant in 7 weeks. Actually felt strange.

Everyone stay safe out there

Started off with getting the registration renewal sent in for the car.

Then the local S & G guys dropped off 19 tons of crusher run mid afternoon - good timing as it's supposed to be nice tomorrow, but I'll have to remove the backhoe and put the BB on to work it. Then rain on Sunday which should help to settle it in.

Made dinner after that - one of those Hello Fresh meals ("Balsamic Fig Chicken with Roasted Potatoes and Lemony Broccoli") - turned out good ...

Going to head back down to the bunker here in a bit and see how the HDD formatting is coming along ... need to feed DC and check the salt in the water softener while I'm down there. Might need a 1/2 bag or so ... but we should be good for another month or two with what we have on hand.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable day.

Good evening all. 60F for the start, sunny, light wind. Wind increased quickly and wind gusts 35+ this morning, higher in afternoon. partly cloudy sky and high temp was 85F. Bike early this morning to miss the worst of the wind. Was going to get the rest of the catkins off roof, but too windy settled for oil change and blade sharpening
Cooke county numbers out of whack, have 2 sources and they don't agree, Montague unchanged, Grayson up 2 to 34.
Eric good to see you back, just remember Jay is going back to sunglasses to increase voluntary social distancing.
Billy nice joke, wife enjoyed it too. reminds me of a friend's bike jersey :licking:
Mike sorry to hear about your daughter, will she be tested?
Ron great pic enjoy your aunt visit
Don chickens eat what ever is available. nice pic of the kids.
Jay only 12 years active, flying field was underwater in 93, and ran out of time to fly.
RNG sounds like a rough patch glad you're not hurt. As far as running a back hoe never done it and I shall cast no stones :tractor:
David go luck with hydroponics
PJ keep us posted on how well they work.
Buckeye my drive way is so short the mail person just walks up. Hope she did not hurt the floers too much
Thomas looks like BooBoo doubled in size. If my wife made that remark it would be to rub in how much nicer her tractor is than my truck
RNG good luck getting TPH arms
Randy nice pics
RS step daughter got us 6 weeks of 3 meals, she has been picking out meals and gave us the week off.
Buckeye at least you got the flight in.
