Top pop, hope cut heals well. There are discount programs for Eliquis. $10 month instead of $700.

I've been on Eliquis for a few years now.
Unfortunately my monthly co-pay is $50,
because I had been going to the VA for annual checkups which is a Federal program
anyone who uses a Federal program such as VA or Medicare is ineligible for the discount pricing because of Federal Regulations designed to stop graft and corruption.

Stopped at Rural King in Highland on the way home from work yesterday and picked up a couple of new No-Spill gas cans for the mowers. If these work even slightly better that the old ones, I'll go back and get a couple for diesel for the tractor, too.

I'm gradually switching over to NoSpills, too, Paul.

One thing I've noticed, though. If the gas filler is on the side of a car, opening horizontally rather than vertically, you can't easily fill it with those right angle nozzles. At least, I haven't figured out how to do it.

The five gallon size is also heavy enough that it's awkward to hold the button down with one hand and support the weight with the other. I keep a 2.5 gallon version around, and have been known to fill that from one of the 5ers, then use the smaller can to fill the little gas tanks.

I really, really like the 1 gallon can I use for chainsaw premix. In that application, they really are no spill.

61ï½° according to WU

Wind has done a 180ï½° shift
Lots of flooding from yesterdays rain.

Work video chat this morning. Got some more remote work I can do. Wednesday was 4 yrs for me at this company. 13 yrs for previous, and 20 yrs for one before that. Many changes over that time, even over last 4 years.

Friends brother in Springfield Massachusetts area just diagnosed with lymphoma and tested positive for cv19. Double whammy. My friend has relative works at holyoak, think jay mentioned it.

Good to see Eric is back, and didn稚 become his wife痴 pin cushion.

As of yesterday 82 Vets died of Covid-19 and/or related illnesses at the Holyoke VA facility. 81 staff tested C-19+. When this story first broke I heard and read some serious allegations regarding administrative mis-management, but have not yet been substantiated at this point.

Years ago I did some fee for service work there. It smelled of urine which is not a good thing in any longterm care facility. There are some serious investigations going on.

Two more veterans pass away at Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke, bringing total to 82 deaths | WWLP

BEF - Cipro- hope you can get off it soon so you feel better

That was a couple years ago after a surgery to prevent infection. I kept getting sick and couldn’t figure out why, narrowed it down to cipro by taking meds different time of day. Sometimes my dr will have me take 1 after his follow up poking and prodding sessions. I can handle 1 on a full stomach, but not a weeks worth.

Yes, my Dad can’t use the Eliquis discount either because of VA.

Sure wish we could just get regular cans again. I hate these contraptions.

Nice job on your siding, mostly_. We need to do that on our north side, too.

I actually chuckled out loud over your "BC times," Eric.

Glad you didn't squish yourself, RNG. That would be less good.

You can buy regular screw on spouts for those yellow cans. I think TSC carries them. Yours even have vents, my diesel cans don’t. I also bought one of those shake to siphon hoses, sit diesel can on hood of tractor, put hose shake end of hose in can and shake a few times to get siphon going, then it will drain the can for you.

*the screw on spouts don’t fit my harbor freight gas can, different thread. They do fit my old cans from TSC.

Watched the mail lady back out of driveway and run over wife’s flower bed. She dropped off a package, box containing potted flowers that wife ordered. She set box on porch upside down, but they were boxed pretty good. Never knew they mailed potted flowers via USPS like that.
Back to the dungeon to get more paying work done. At least 6 more months and I’m eligible to draw retire from my first job, that I left 17 yrs ago. But first I need to get rehired there in order to retire with healthcare. Long story.

Yard needs mowed, drone needs flying. But bills need paid.

USPS are the only ones that bring plants to replace what they drive over when they leave!!! :)
