Good morning all. 68F this morning going to 86F waves of clouds and sun windy and some showers in area. Today should be my last day on project, then will be able to concentrate more on moving prep and getting ready for BAK.

70F and no masurable rain last 24 hrs.

Driveway really came out good, now plant some trees and grass along sides to help with the water flow.

Off to Costco this morning. Not one of my favorite trips, always spend too much, but the dogs need food

Good Afternoon. 1335, sunny, 86F with 51% humidity. Forecast high of 86F and a low of 62F. First rain chance is 25% on Saturday. The Chipola River has fallen 4' to 23.7', but 4 or 5 more feet drop would be nice. I worked in the garden yesterday morning, and cleaning house today. I have another afternoon of office relief today. Slow day here, so I will get a couple of miles of walking in before tonight's customers get here.

David, sorry to here about your employment situation. Hopefully you have been LBYM all this time, so you are ready for a little downturn.

I have been there more than once,it all works out.

I spent all weekend pulling soaking wet carpet & pad out of the basement, and I did get the woodstove lit to help with the drying out process.

I got almost all the furniture back in, some is in the attic, and I is mostly dry. I need to get the TV set up for this weekend with the girls at a minimum.

Looks like I've got plenty of time to finish, yesterday my Boss laid me off. I'm on Payroll until the end of the month but I need a new job ASAP it seems.

40 degrees right now and heading to the high 60”s so they say.
Started planting potatoes yesterday afternoon and we have cut back again this year, only putting in 150 pounds of seed.
Should be enough to feed the family and neighbors!
Have a doc appointment this morning to check out the knee! Sure it is just a check-up and release from the doctors office.
Then over to the Volvo dealer to see what our old V-50 is worth. Close to changing cars again...

Checked on the 40 trees (apple, hazelnut, red osier dogwood and Christmas trees) I planted this spring and watered them yesterday (no rain in a week). All have leafed out and doing well. It was a lot of work clearing and preparing the sites, and then digging the holes and keeping them watered, but I think it will be worth it.

Clear skies and headed to upper 60's today. Things are greening-up on the ground but not one tree leaf yet.

I just read the demand for commercial potatoes is declining, Maine potato growers will cut back planting and the contact price is down 5% to $9.87 per hundredweight. People are eating less french fries it seems.
