This is why I don't got to bed before 11 P.M. Went to bed at 9:30 P.M. and I am up now bright eyed and bushy tailed. Oh well.

Presently the temperature is 20 and going up to 30°F. Wind NNE 3 mph. Mainly sunny after it gets up!

Nothing on the books for today,, so might as well conserve energy.

Have a safe day all
:D

So, by my quick calculations, it'd be 0311 (Wednesday morning) your time, when you sent this.

Right now, it's 1920 (Wednesday evening) my time.

Umm... Good morning, Mate.

good morning all, and mates
some of us are up early too
so tired last night went to bed early
nice night listening to rain on the roof
rv holding at 68 degrees inside with two electric
heaters set on 750W. I already know what happens when
I flick the setting to high.
CLICK
ok, sorry breaker
41 outside so not too cold
I'm just cheap because I don't want to burn up propane in my heater, which works exceptionally well but is noisy.

I find if I turn on the propane heat for fifteen minutes it takes the cold soak out of rv and then electric heat works out after that. Poorly insulated rv, am thankful it is not ten degrees colder last night. Campground asked me to fill my water tanks, disconnect from campground water for night, worried about freezing. But it stayed warm enough.

should have a fun day today. Will be going out to lunch with brother, finding a winery to see if I can find any local wine under 30 a bottle (this is surely not two buck chuck territory) that I can take home as a gift.

fresh brewed coffee in my little home on wheels is a nice way to start the day.
And I have a special trip sticky bun in there waiting for me.
I try to pack a treat for the trip...

Poured first cup of coffee. 32° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 43° with sun and clouds. Repaired neighbors hedge trimmer that they keep getting stuck in the fence around their gardens. Not sure they how much longer it will keep working. Drive mechanism was jammed up. Did some clean up in pole barn. Hope get started on doing oil changes today.
Yesterday's sunrise. Looking thru the woods.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

good morning Bill
my sticky bun and coffee are darned good but could only eat
half the sticky bun to avoid diabetic coma...
am a sucker for cinnamon

project for this morning before stepbrother comes pick me up is to reattach
the small door handle for bathroom lower vanity which I found on the floor.
missing one screw, found the other.
I have some super glue, think I'll reattach them with a drop of that added.
everything vibrates loose

Motor homes and travel trailers are a constant repair job as are boats. Especially older ones.

Good morning TBD folks! Dearest thought she was having a super short day at work but she ended up there for 90% of a normal one. Didn't make it to the tire/oil shop before they closed to get her bronco. Oh well, we'll get it this morning. Its about 25 here this am and predicted to hit 40 today. Did work on the trailer floor tie-downs but not worth a photo. Was happy with how it looks so far. Winter is sneaking up on us here. Old pic.

Good Tractor Morning,
Ct, 30 to start going to 46. Looks to be a cloudy day with possible breaks of sun around noon for an hour or two.

Flight home went well, about 3 1/2 hours approximately. Out transportation limo picked us up quickly, but lots of traffic coming out of NYC. We got home by 7:30 so a little time to go through 2 weeks of mail. The neighbor across the street made us some soup and fresh bread for supper, that was really appreciated. She takes care of our cat Meg for us. Super neighbor really, we do give her $20 per day but she feeds the cat twice a day and takes in all out mail and packages.

Good to be home, I’m hoping to get some radio time in today, but I really need a few hours working on leaves in the yard.

Hope all have a blessed day 🙏

Forty and foggy with drizz. Popping up to 58 as the sun burns through.

Kyle, congrats on getting that fuel tank done. Sounds like a hard job.

Scotty, glad you had a great vacation and trip home.

Great hike in the mountains yesterday with Della since it was yoga day for my wife. We got a light rain on us for the last few miles, and when I got to my truck, the temp display said 34F, so we barely missed snow. One guy I met when we got to the top of the mountain said it did snow on him earlier. We like snow. We flushed grouse in two places, which is a rare treat...and one huge buck courting a doe close to us.

Picked up some diesel for the tractor and mower at $2.44, and some fried chicken, cheese grits etc. to bring home for dinner for my wife...but had to leave for a county meeting immediately on arriving home, so ate the dinner late.

Low-strength LocTite (e.g. ThreadLocker 222) would be best, since it’ll hold the screws from vibrating out, but still be easy enough to break loose when you want to.

Another product I used to use in the 1990’s when I worked for a robotics company, was VibraTite. Unlike LocTite that dries hard and has to be “broken” free, VibraTite remains gooey, and just provides a lot of turning resistance. It’s not “locked”, but it will never vibrate out.

IIRC, we used VibraTite only when putting screws into thermoplastics, as it was more expensive and slower to use, and because LocTite eats and dissolves thermoplastics. But it could be used on anything.

Good morning TBN!!
48 this morning and going to the mid 70s. Supposed to be warm the rest of the week. And it will be sunny. Really could use some rain but I like this weather considering mid Nov.

Worked on brakes again yesterday. Trying to get the emergency brake freed up. It was frozen and not functioning when it was parked and certainly didn't get better while parked for 5 years.
Had to readjust the mounting for one of the front brakes too.
Got the filters and belt for my air compressor. Put the filters in but will do the belt today so I can get it put back in to it's hole. I don't like having to use my little 10 gallon much.
Not to sure what the rest of day will hold.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!
