Good morning TBD folks! Dearest thought she was having a super short day at work but she ended up there for 90% of a normal one. Didn't make it to the tire/oil shop before they closed to get her bronco. Oh well, we'll get it this morning. Its about 25 here this am and predicted to hit 40 today. Did work on the trailer floor tie-downs but not worth a photo. Was happy with how it looks so far. Winter is sneaking up on us here. Old pic.

Good Tractor Morning,
Ct, 30 to start going to 46. Looks to be a cloudy day with possible breaks of sun around noon for an hour or two.

Flight home went well, about 3 1/2 hours approximately. Out transportation limo picked us up quickly, but lots of traffic coming out of NYC. We got home by 7:30 so a little time to go through 2 weeks of mail. The neighbor across the street made us some soup and fresh bread for supper, that was really appreciated. She takes care of our cat Meg for us. Super neighbor really, we do give her $20 per day but she feeds the cat twice a day and takes in all out mail and packages.

Good to be home, I’m hoping to get some radio time in today, but I really need a few hours working on leaves in the yard.

Hope all have a blessed day 🙏

Forty and foggy with drizz. Popping up to 58 as the sun burns through.

Kyle, congrats on getting that fuel tank done. Sounds like a hard job.

Scotty, glad you had a great vacation and trip home.

Great hike in the mountains yesterday with Della since it was yoga day for my wife. We got a light rain on us for the last few miles, and when I got to my truck, the temp display said 34F, so we barely missed snow. One guy I met when we got to the top of the mountain said it did snow on him earlier. We like snow. We flushed grouse in two places, which is a rare treat...and one huge buck courting a doe close to us.

Picked up some diesel for the tractor and mower at $2.44, and some fried chicken, cheese grits etc. to bring home for dinner for my wife...but had to leave for a county meeting immediately on arriving home, so ate the dinner late.

Low-strength LocTite (e.g. ThreadLocker 222) would be best, since it’ll hold the screws from vibrating out, but still be easy enough to break loose when you want to.

Another product I used to use in the 1990’s when I worked for a robotics company, was VibraTite. Unlike LocTite that dries hard and has to be “broken” free, VibraTite remains gooey, and just provides a lot of turning resistance. It’s not “locked”, but it will never vibrate out.

IIRC, we used VibraTite only when putting screws into thermoplastics, as it was more expensive and slower to use, and because LocTite eats and dissolves thermoplastics. But it could be used on anything.

Good morning TBN!!
48 this morning and going to the mid 70s. Supposed to be warm the rest of the week. And it will be sunny. Really could use some rain but I like this weather considering mid Nov.

Worked on brakes again yesterday. Trying to get the emergency brake freed up. It was frozen and not functioning when it was parked and certainly didn't get better while parked for 5 years.
Had to readjust the mounting for one of the front brakes too.
Got the filters and belt for my air compressor. Put the filters in but will do the belt today so I can get it put back in to it's hole. I don't like having to use my little 10 gallon much.
Not to sure what the rest of day will hold.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!
