FIL fell again, got a cut on leg this time.
Doesn’t sound like this rehab place will work. They had wanted him to stay at Hopkins, but insurance said go.

Good morning, temp is -4°F and the high will be 21. Wind calm. Sunny.

The storm from Texas should be here tonight, I hope. I haven't started to track it yet, too soon.

The tractor is all fueled up and raring to go, as am I. I like the snow and I love removing it from places we don't want it.

A town run today and conserve energy for tomorrow's snow relocation exercise.

Driving in the snow is something you get used to, I've been doing it for 57 years. We won't mention the two years I occasionally drove BEFORE I got a license. I stole Dads' car on three occasions in summer time, once at age 14 and twice at age 15. I had my license road test the day after my birthday, age 16. Got my chauffeurs license the following day. With the chauffeurs license I could drive for pay. We didn't get into the 'clasified' licenses until late in 1973.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 19ｰ with some clouds this morning. Heading to 34ｰ with mix of sun and clouds. Rain/snow overnight. It was nice enough to take Sassy for a walk yesterday. Her only complaint. Take this collar cone off me. Dr says wait until Wednesday. Plan to do a few things in shop and today. Make a fixture to weld bandsaw blades. I have a whole roll of blades that need welding.
Lots of different crittes to take pictures lately. These look like crows. One had a white chest.

Buckeye, sorry to here you have a cold. Hope it goes away soon. It was a hard thing getting my mother to ask for help while she was at nursing home. She ended up with sensors on her bed, wheelchair and recliner. They ended up moving her room next to nurses station for a couple of months.

Thomas, since state made it a crime in Michigan to feed deer last year. I am only feeding birds and squirrels. It has cut way back amount of feed needed each day.

After dinner last evening Mrs. want to talk about tractor issue she said while I'm getting new lens light today at dealership get some rough prices on wheel spacers tire chains labor,than she drop a bomb which surprise me she would like price on B2650 with front loader tire chains also B2601 with front loader tire chains something she would feel lot more comfortable using..,I think she been doing some home work lately...I'm real not in favor of letting L2800HST go but do understand what she saying....hmmmm.

Plans for today...Kubota dealer for part,get critter food,attach plow to pickup,check game cam,watch some NASCAR and baby left shoulder little after yesterday work out.

warmer this morning, 46 going up to 60 today in sun, rain has stopped, light rain all night, about half an inch

have some errands to run, otherwise not much planned.

Buckeye, feel better, same for FIL. You are like me this year, seen a lot more doctors than you want to.

Need to put battery charger on old Cub Cadet, hope it starts, then put an ad in Craigs List to sell it. Good project for someone with
grandchildren. I've done the rider, now the mower deck needs renovating. It's only collecting mold where it sits under a tarp, need to go to next
happy home. Paid 500 bucks, put at least that into it with new tires and steering parts, probably get 500 when I sell it. But it was a lot of fun doing.
