Coffee is brewing. 59° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 83° with times of heavy smoke from forest fires. Got front grass cut yesterday. Made some spacers for putting new pump on a pressure a washer. Good to work in shop. Got a fresh supply of ethanol free gas. PT this morning. Then may cut back back field. Need to clean up shop from past projects.
Thought I should get a picture of Sassy before she finds something to roll in.

I have a Ryobi grease gun with Lock n Lube. Looks like other models. Except color is yellow. Also have a hand grease gun that I use for those fittings that I cannot get Lock n Lube into.

cloudy going up to mid 80's today

walnut brown wood putty came in yesterday, hope to finish the rv bathroom trim repair with that.
and then off to Costco when they open, haven't been there in a while, and need to stock up freezer.

I used my Alemite hand grease gun yesterday, works very well, when I'm not close enough to use air operated
grease gun in garage.
I wish JD had left the zerks on top of the spindles; instead they install them at the bottom of the spindle sides,
difficult to get to and I can't fit a lock n lube in there. Greasing a zerk you can't see at all, and can only work on by touch, well
that's dumb if other alternatives.

Ct, 63 to start going to 82. Looks to be another banner day.

Mostly, yes pizza party went very well , lots of good conversations. Kathleen said after the party, everyone there was old. And then I reminded her that everyone there was in their 70’s, except for our sister in law who is 80 We are also old But a good time had by all

Swim lessons for the kiddos this afternoon, probably won’t be many more sessions left. The boys go back to school on August 27 th. I usually close the pool up by the 3rd weekend in September. So it’s getting towards the end of the season. I enjoyed watching the kids have fun, but really don’t like picking up all the toys after everyone leaves

Plans for today, go for a 3 mile walk early and then head to possibly a new park with my radio gear. I can’t imagine sitting out in a park during the winter trying to send Morse code with my fingers freezing

This weekend heading over to Long Island with our friends, we are planning to see the Doobie Brothers at Jones Beach.

We just lost power here, have no idea why .

Holly passed out yesterday not sure here nurse and I got her up ok now. Eye doctor visit more shots needed in one eye for macular degeneration other eye still ok.

But that's the 'mysterious' point. They were in plain sight. I would have looked at them several times without seeing them during the initial search(s).

The only thing that I can think of is that they were very new, to me, 'screw-down' type clamps that were replacing some older 'squeeze-grip' type, so my mind was specifically looking for a squeeze-grip type clamp... mentally rejecting anything that didn't fit what I was looking for.

I laughed when the 'lost' clamps practically jumped off of the hook on the shed's wall.

I'm still chuckling.

Good morning TBN!!
62 this morning with high in the upper 60s. Coolest day in aug in ten years. 2 inches of rain since Sat night. Rained almost constantly for the last 4 or 5 days but, very little actual accumulation.

Good chunk of the early part of the day was dry yesterday so I got a little seat time with the blade. Will work out well for me.
Got the spindle for my Husky mower. Will need to you tube how to get the guts from the old one to the new one. Wasn't expecting that but will "git er done". Then clean up the mess from a couple of projects that have been finished up.

Time for a second cup

I find my mind has made pictures of what I am looking for. But has nothing to do with what I am looking for. Yesterday I laid lathe chuck key down on the tray I have for it. Along with other tools. Seems like each time I needed it. I would look for it in its normal place. But not find. Turning my head and looking another direction. Then looking back at its current place I would find it. Maybe I should paint Chuck Key so it is completely different from all the other shiny tools in the tray.

Good morning, the low is 57 and going to a high of 77°F. Wind ENE 10 mph. Sunny!

This North Bay trip is different, 3 stops in Powassan then 5 stops in NB and on the way home 1 stop in Powassan and 1 in South River.

That will be all I do today.

Wagtail, I have been wearing glasses ever since I was 2 years old. I guess I was about 14 and one day I went all over the house looking for my glasses. Couldn't find them anywhere. Mother asked me what I was searching for, told her my glasses. She told me to look in the bathroom medicine cabinet. Our medicine cabinet had a mirror on it. The dam glasses were on my nose all the time. I laugh at it now, but then I didn't think it was very funny.

good morning, 65 going to 82 cloudy conditions

mowed a large part of the big field. Adjusted the air suspension seat on the zero turn by lowering air pressure to where it just bottomed out on the worst bumps. That way it has the longest stroke and most comfortable ride

Did an hours worth of strength training exercises. Shoulder continues to improve and the muscle burn felt really good. Able to do push ups again, progress

Picking up groceries today and resuming mowing

Reorganized shops and tools after retirement and is still looking for things occasionally in the "old' places

Good Morning
66°, high in the middle 80’s again under a sunny sky.

Didn’t accomplish much yesterday afternoon, helped a neighbor setup a ring doorbell camera. He couldn’t remember his WiFi password, I was able to retrieve it from his iPhone, and the Ring needed 2.4g WiFi, so had to set that up in his WiFi router. Fortunately the router still had all the default settings, so it was easy to access it. I had him write down all the new passwords and tape them to the router for future use.

Other than that, a relaxing day.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor, then over to the RC field to fly with the old retired guys.
Not sure what follows that.

Morning all, 64 going up to 86 and hazy? Air quality is not good today
Work went better than expected yesterday, still busy and hectic.
Did get out to water the garden and pick some tomatoes.

Went out and dusted the yellow jackets again, also ordered some new dust as this stuff might be too old.

May try to take down some more stiltgrass. Will do some more watering as I don't see any rain in the near forecast.
