Good evening all. 75ºF for the start, partly cloudy, Breezy. Windy, brisk gusts, sky clouded up with sprinkles in morning, several lines of storms in evening. High temp was 89ºF, HI 99ºF. Made coffee to start, bike ride, 67 miles, windy, lunch, nap, dinner.

Ron glad you got some rain. Glad clean up crew working on raccoon. Good luck with sensor light repair. Nice fish pic, didn't know that goldfish not gold at birth.

Poured first cup of coffee. 68° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 84° with sunny skies. There is an air quality warning out for Canadian fire smoke again. Afternoon storm came thru and left .58" rain. Cooled things off to 68° for awhile. Got caught up with weed pulling. With neighbors help we got garage door sensors properly aligned. Son is visiting for a few hours as he passes by with a truck load of stuff. Garden Pond manatiance. Then afternoon Pizza luncheon at neighbors.

Sitting here icing my shoulder. Using AI to "diagnose" the problem and show me some PT stretches.

Had a hot but good hike yesterday so Della could take a swim. Then made a diesel run and mowed for 2.5 hours...grass never fully dried due to a week of rain and high humidity.

Ron, sorry about the smoke. There has also been 2 big wildfires north of the Grand Canyon...AZ closed the only highway into the North Rim and across northern AZ. My wife and I spent some time there and hiked the Canyon from the North Rim, so we have been following. There is an Arizona Trail thru-hiker at the bottom heading north to meet her mom and baby as this unfolded...waiting to hear an update.

Good Morning,
Ct, 67 to start going to low 80’s I believe but every day seems to be really warmer than predicted with pretty high humidity.

We are enjoying the pool along with the grands in this heat. They had a little swim party yesterday and had a ball. I had to leave early for a concert at the FD. We actually made some money yesterday, we came out over $523 to the good.

Church in a little while and then some adjustments on the antenna I put up yesterday. I had to take a birch tree down to get one end of the antenna up so I need to clean that mess up today if possible.

That should start any red fan drooling.

Been a few times I haven't been very impressed with the "Amish" backed goods. Such as raisin bread that you had to look long and hard to find the raisins. The fruit and preserves have usually been decent.

The T-storms missed us, thankfully.

Today is a day of rest and that is exactly what I am going to do. Now that I am retired I can treat every day that ends in 'day' as a Sunday.

66 this morning. Should be about 92/104FL and humid with the usual afternoon Tstorms.

Went out yesterday looking for garage sales. Found just 1 but didn't buy anything. Seems like there aren't many sales like there used to be and the ones you find have basically retail pricing!
Came home and worked on my press some more. Got some casters tacked on and cut a steel plate to cover the base. Probably about done with it.
Plan today is to haul a little bit of stone to fill a small hole that is developing in the bridge from rain and settling. I'll decide if I am done with the press and maybe for something new to start on.

Time for a second cup.

There is a made in USA store near me that sells Amish preserves.

We discovered their peach salsa and pineapple salsa and got hooked on them

They are great with a taco salad.

The other thing we buy from there is the sweet pickle relish. It's more chunk with little liquid.

Good Morning
75° cloudy, high of 85 and going to partly cloudy.

Yesterday was a nice day, hot but plenty of shade available, summer fest ran smoothly, having two stages really made the changeovers seamless.
I managed to mow with the Lazer around the house before I left.

Hopefully today I’ll put the Progressive mower to work. Oldest son wants us to go to brunch either family this morning, Davis weather station needs a new battery, I need to unload my car from yesterday, and I’m sure the list will grow before bedtime.

Morning all, 78 going to 86 and cloudy now.
Weather was perfect if not a little hot for the graduation party. Had at least 50 people, lots of kids running around and after most of the adults moved to the main field, they took over the pool and had a good time.
Food truck and Hawaiian ice truck were well received.
At one point my son and his friends dragged out drums and amps and played a few songs.

Got some of the worst cleaned up last night so we didn't get a critter attack.
Today we'll put away tables at leisure and fold up and put away the rest.
Having the gorilla cart is so great, can load it up and stock the bar.
Bring it back, load ice and fill the coolers.

Son was really happy and everything went to plan. Even some of my sons friends parents showed up, so that was nice.

I've had/restored/sold several old cars over the years. I picked up this '65 Ford F100 the other day. It needs some TLC, but it's in pretty solid shape. My daughter wants it restored and painted mint green or black. I'm out in the country and on gravel, so it'll get made reliable and comfy and the "old farm truck" look is what it'll be. I kinda like the tan/rust patina. so will do a "Roadworthy Rescues" treatment. Has a swapped 302 and automatic trans with power steering. It runs and drove off the trailer (after I put an ignition switch in).

80F and mostly cloudy @ 11:00, calling for a high of 85F for the day. 50% chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

Rain all around us yesterday, some of it heavy ... but never materialized here beyond a couple of drops.

It did cool off considerably with all the cloudiness, down into the low to mid 80's.

Lots of opportunities for rain in the Ten Day, sure hope we get some of it.

After eating yesterday I went back out and got all the peppers, eggplants, okra, and kohlrabi watered and am now glad I did ... since it didn't rain.

Came in about the time it was looking like it was going to pour and spent the rest of the day getting some payments scheduled meds doled out for the coming week and then spent the evening watching a couple movies on Prime.

Woman worked inside on laundry and general housecleaning. Just announced She is heading outside now (due to cooler temps) ... probably going to pick some blueberries ... which could mean a delicious desert later ...

Agenda for today:

Haul off pulled weeds and debris to compost pile.

Bring down woodchips for mulching.

Get wax bush beans planted ... along with the last zucchini and the last 2 winter squash.

Probably run the soaker hose on the tomatoes.

Get the winter squash and pumpkins watered.

More weaving plants into trellises.

Beyond that see what else comes up.

Squash plants have really greened up since being fed:

Little zucchini was about 4" long yesterday ... probably be a foot long today ... lol:
