Good morning all. A white over frosty start for the day at -3C/26F. We are at last promised 24 hours without rain, only the ducks are going to be disappointed.

Catching up on tbn has taken quite a while, but I must have missed the page where Randy was hypnotised - one day he wakes up thinking he is part piggy, next day he's a cow ... :confused2: What next, a chicken ? Oh - only if Ellen needs the eggs :laughing:

As ever there is always something new to learn. A quick coat of some stuff called "Zinga", almost pure zinc suspended in a fancy solvent. Next best thing to hot-dip galvanising and can be easily applied by brush, even when too cold to use normal paint. It looks like you have this in the USA too Zinga Z1 Zinc Film Cold Galvanizing Coating - 12.5 Ounces | GME Supply Not sure if that's the best price, it is twice as much as I pay.

Good morning,
temp is 20°F and going to the lofty high of 23. Wind NNW 2 mph. Flurries with no accumulation.

A town run is in the cards for this morning, then conserve energy.

The original battery in the Dodge is now gone, but the one I bought yesterday isn't the most expensive battery I have ever bought. I think I paid $475.oo ea for two Odeseys for the boat and I had to go pick them up in Toronto. They wanted $100.oo ea to ship them, I said no way I am paying that shipping when in two weeks I would be down there anyway. Paid over a grand with tax and saved 200 bux.

No skunks spotted this morning, but did catch mouse #11...and they are still disappearing from Predator Butte. Only found one cat and one opossum on the spy cam.

Gel cell technology. They are expensive, but if they last over 5 years I will be pleasantly surprised.
We in Canada, as far as I know, have no battery manufacturing facility. They are all made in USA. Our dollar against the American dollar is worth 68 cents. It wasn't always this way, there were some years where the US $ was worth 90 cents Canadian, but those days are long gone.
Speaking of 'long gone', General Motors in Oshawa, Ontario will be building the last car sometime this week. They are closing the doors. GM in Oshawa has gone the way of the Dodo bird.

We use optima in some of our equipment one is 16 years old. IR rollers all came with optima but since they were bought out by Volvo not so much
