Took garbage out front for pickup. Looked off to the right and seen this view. Still a lot of leaves to drop.

That looks really Fallish Ron. Since the hard freeze came a month early here we have 2 colors, brown and green.

I like the cap less fuel tank, my late wife’s 2011 Edge Limited had it, very simple for sure.
My retina specialist uses a machine that lets you see all the vessels and if there is fluid where it shouldn’t be, etc... but he still dilates. Once I had laser surgery (4 times) on my right eye to remove the fluid pocket, that eye went from 20/100 to 20/40, left eye is 20/25. My prescription from 1999 and last year are near identical, I can wear any glasses from the last 20 years.

Looks like snow and sleet for us Tuesday night.

Breakfast with friends in a few.

Have a good day, God bless.

Good morning! A warm 69˚F heading to the 80s. Trailblazing today.
Buppies I also have the cap-less and really don't see the selling point of it. Maybe it was a cost savings idea instead of a sales promotion improvement.
Mostly vision improved by a change in prescription to a weaker lenses.
Roy your SD may need to carry one of those hand held stop signs when she crosses that intersection.

Refrigerator delivery went well - two big guys carried the refrigerator in with straps on their shoulders. The door in the door feature that I thought was useless is quite handy and my wife really likes the auto fill water picture in the door that has an infuser. It is a quiet refrigerator.

Guys carried my last fridge in using straps. Had to laugh when they carried out the old, the bottom was covered in refrigerator magnetic letters from when the kids were small.

When Buppies mentioned a cap for the diesel, I was thinking a truck cap over a diesel tank in the back bed. Now I know what he meant.

I always drove home after eye dilated, I just wear the fancy throwaway sunglasses

Good morning!!!!! Moderate temps 68F to 83F

I wonder if the manufacturers are going back to petroleum based wiring? I would hate to think of soy based wiring on any aircraft...

Eric, I chuckled at PJ's "less unimportant" terminology too. :)

L4N, I have a bit of a girth. Could stand to lose 15 lbs. I'm guessing at your height/size, that not too many people tell you what to do. :)

As a hunter/collector/pack rat, I couldn't imagine living in a tiny house. Yes, I have too much stuff. I do need to downsize. Anybody need a nitrogen generator cold head system? Or a 10kw wind generator alternator sans accoutrement? Or a Yanmar L100 24volt DC generator?

. The way the Gator blades worked. It may be a good time to get rid of Trak-Vac.

Buckeye, 3 hour phone call. My oldest son does that with me when he is on the road. Glad he has to sleep sometime each day. Always good to talk to him.
Good Morning All.

I might need to “invest” in gator blades. The new ZT cuts leaves up but not as well as old rider.

My sons also call on long road trips. I encourage it on late trips. With unlimited calling why not.

57 degrees going for a wet 73 today. Supposed to rain the next 2 days.

43°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 50° today. Expecting some rain around noon, lasting much of the day and overnight, then possibly ending as snow tomorrow morning. Looks like this weekend will be the last of our 50° days for awhile, with 20s and 30s forecast for highs next week.

Wife has some roll-up shock pads she puts atop her quilting machine to keep the cats off of it. They run on a 9V battery, and those don't last long. She ordered some 9V power supplies to replace them awhile back, and got the wrong polarity adapters with the battery clips. I found a different one on Amazon that everyone writing reviews claimed was the correct polarity. They arrived yesterday, and they are the same as the others. The first batch we've had for awhile, so she's returning the second order. After some exhaustive and unsuccessful inturwebs searching last night, I've decided it would just be easier to clip the mating ends and solder the battery clips directly to the transformer wires. You wouldn't think it would be so hard in 2019 to find such an adapter, but you'd be wrong.

That phrase made me smile PJ. You got to keep the wheels turning for a happy marriage, or she will be quilting you a shroud :)

Eric, I chuckled at PJ's "less unimportant" terminology too. :)

I used to work with a guy who made every effort to remove negativity from his life. Instead of saying something was "bad," he'd say, "That would be less good." It entertained me so much that I started using it in jest, and still do to this day, even if it means using a near double negative. :D

Eric, a quilted shroud would mean resting in peace and comfort. Nice idea.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

A nighttime low temperature of 30ºF for today’s low temp; a clear and sunny 43ºF presently; and I anticipate a clear and sunny afternoon high in the mid 40ºF’s. The Tundra made it to the “Big City” w/o incident yesterday and now I am waiting to hear form the service center. We picked up groceries and fish & chips take out on the ride back home. With inclement weather expected Thursday-Friday with maybe a snow teaser and a significant drop in temperatures Friday evening onwards I really need to get things ready for Winter outside and get the tractor ready for next week ;). Snow on/around Veteran’s Day used to be the norm. Next week may reflect old patterns. Many longterm weather models are reflecting similar outcomes.

Eric- I loved the “visual” of your swan V formation. They can be pretty nasty. I am glad they just did a poopless flyover and no sneak attack.

Check- A nice looking job. I am glad you got this project done before it gets really cold and nasty outside. Thanks for sharing.

“Had a nice meeting with new boss this morning.. I am very excited to get done with old job and just be doing new job... transition expected to take until Jan perhaps (ugh)..”- Hawkeye This is good news. I hope the transition happens quicker than expected.

A belated Birthday wish for BEF’s Son. I wish him many more in health and happiness.

Roy- I hope your Stepdaughter heals quickly. Broken ribs is not fun. I am glad to read that you are being entertained and well fed at your mandatory training.

Kyle- The traffic in the “Big City” was as always horrible yesterday (parking is worse). We chose instead to do take out fish & chips from the supermarket which is pretty decent. Their pizza looked terrible (really thick crust and minimal toppings).

RonJH- Thanks for sharing your Fall scene picture. It’s not as picturesque around here.

Paul- It’s a remnant of past work experiences, but I rarely use the “problem” word; I prefer the “challenge” word. Removing negativity from one’s life is not easy. Some people find “predictable misery” comforting.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day today.

My + thoughts and prayers.
