52 heading to 62 before another dip below freezing tonight.

Get well soon, Ken and Mostly!

Hope you had a better day, Buppies.

PJ, sorry the fox has out-foxed you (so far!).

I had another sneeze attack this morning - 12...but I am done cleaning out my office...removed everything yesterday, threw out some more, vacuumed, dusted and wiped the walls...cleaned a couple of spots so well that I voted against repainting.

This was after making another trip down to Virginia Beach to meet my sister at 8am...brought home Mission BBQ pulled chicken and fixin's, which is right next to the Interstate, to make my wife extra happy.

I'm replacing my desk with my mom's desk...it was made on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in 1787, so I feel I have made a special place for it.

good morning all
a warm 40 here, high of 45 in sun. Should be nice.
dentist appt this morning, then taking my friend to PT this afternoon.

Mostly, hope you feel better.
time of year we all seem to catch a cold from someone else.
a reminder to wash your hands when you get home

Thomas, hopefully your good deed was very appreciated by the real phone owner.

all you guys pushing snow or driving in it today, slow and steady.

Don, those veggies and flowers look wonderful. I get such an itch this time of year to grow things
after enjoying the farm cycle in NC.

nice dinner out at Indian restaurant last night with old friend. Had choice of goat or lamb.
Chickened out(no pun intended...), almost got the goat, but figured safer with lamb.
It was delicious with basmati rice, I can never cook rice that fluffy.

slept in a little this morning, kinda fuzzy starting out. More coffee....

Good morning! 65˚F heading to 78˚ with cloudy skies and a S wind.
(yesterdays high was 85˚ with clear skies.)

Surface pool bot worked through the night and still blinking green. First time I had him work the night shift. His battery is supposed to work for 30 hours if we have enough sunshine like yesterday.

Today is FireWise day. Not surprising we get fewer complaints of brush removal after the California fires.

Good Morning!!!! 49F @ 5:00AM. Cloudy and windy with periods of rain. High 57F. Winds SSE at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall near an inch. Localized flooding is possible.

Finally got the kitchen and dining area mopped yesterday, and did a little auto insurance chasing. Laugh-In popped up on Prime Video, so I watched the first episode. I'm thinking it got funnier as it went because this one didn't seem all that funny.

Moving on to cleaning bathrooms today, probably more time on the phone with an insurance agent or two.

hope you are feeling better yourself Ken this morning
and did you know...
that a beaver pulls its babies along on its tail?
remarkably well engineered animal, superb in its hard wired goal
to collect and dam. They have remarkable teeth.
lots of extra iron in them to make them tougher
tough on the landscaping though

growing up we had a stream going through the woods on the farm.
water headed down to the Delaware River and this was the "bluffs" of the hill leading down
to River Road. We had a large fox den, under huge slabs of granite outcrops, but never had a beaver.
probably more common North of here.
NHBX and Scott are more likely to have beavers nearby.

Good Morning to All who Celebrate! Currently 47° with a high of 47°. I'll take not having to scrape the windows of the truck in the morning. Makes life easier all around.

Friday I had picked up some sort of bug, but had to stay on at work due to my boss having to take care of his whole family who has come down with a stomach bug. So I was just trying to hang on and not let the day get away from me.

Saturday, Felt better and finally got around to greasing the loader. Take one more thing of the list. Still need to look at the Farm Boss, maybe this weekend.

Sunday, Mother asked me to burn boxes again. Alright, got dressed in outside clothes, boots on, collected tools, fired up the tractor, swapped the snow-push for the bucket, moved the truck. Was puttering back towards the garage when it hit me: Oh, it's Sunday. Township won't let you burn on Sunday. The other capper of Sunday, boss messaged me: Networking trouble in the main branch, be there at 6am tomorrow to look at it.

Monday rolls around and I don't think I sat down until 1pm. From the networking trouble to a new corporate user that needed to be on-boarded in another location and back again.

This week it looks like an ice storm is on the horizon, when I get home I'll put the snow push back on, and the blade. I think I might need the downforce and definitely the weight if ice is involved. Boss now has a cold as well, Day-quil is keeping him up, but I imagine he will fade soon.

Current goals: Survive the workweek, put snow push and blade back on, figure out what's wrong with the Farm Boss, buy 100 hour maintenance kit for tractor.

Prayers for those ailing and recovering! Y'all stay safe out there and enjoy the week!

that four egg omelette is going to cost you now...

avian flu
I know, get the chickens to to all wear masks!;)
Often US standards differ from global standards dealing with farm animals.
not sure we are the leader here. Are EU standards different or higher?

big loss to growers, I wonder how the Asian market deals with this.
those folks use a LOT of eggs in their food

never thought the Waffle House counter ever looked all that clean, and the tables were sort of smeared with something.
at least you can get an egg white omelet there.
That will be 28 dollars please...
and be sure to use some hand sanitizer when you get back to your car.

you guys with chickens, keep laying.
those are white globes of gold

63°F and 0 rain

Productive day yesterday. Finished mowing Hl end of property. Tried getting a panoramic pic
IMG_0481.jpg

A few day break, then I can start again.

Nice HH gathering in town.

Today, my solar installer scheduled to swap out my problematic secondary inverter, warranty expired of course. I could do this myself as it’s pretty much plug and play, but I figure there might be potential value in the relationship come the day I can’t.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

36°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 47° today.

It was always going to be Plan A, Bill. I had no delusion that he was ever going to wander away on his own. As I was leaving for work this morning, driving down the driveway I saw him trotting along the treeline that separates the neighbor's front pasture from the road. I stopped and got out of my car and threw a rock at him. So, now he knows I mean business.

Good morning, gents.
