Yeah, I guess I am. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Just sooooooooooooo glad to have a tractor now that protects me from the elements. My old Ford 1700 worked, but it wasnt very fun.

And yep, my kids are old enough to hold a snow shovel (15 and 11), problem is getting them to do it! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

We've been spoiled for the last 5-6 yrs with very little snow... it's been great. However the snow came a week ago and it just continues to come... Looks like a long winter... YUK!

They're calling for 6-12" here in New Hampshire tomorrow. I can't wait. I got to push some snow around on Thanksgiving day but it was only 4". This should be fun tomorrow.

Our snow hit tonight. I plowed right after work. I live on the edge of town with no windblocks to speak of. The drifts were crazy. Just looked outside tonight 9:30pm and it literally looks like waves of snow in the back property. Will have to go back out before work tomorrow.

Man, I guess I'm missing out on a lot of fun!!!!! Our overnight low was 50 and we're climbing to a comfortable 72 degrees. I picked the wrong state to have a tractor in!

Got to be something you can do with a tractor in 72 degree weather. If not, I can get hold of my BIL over in Mesa. I'm sure he can find a project for you to do at his place. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ok here's some pics of my snow "work" (read play) this am. We didnt get as much as initially forcasted, bout 3-4 inches, but a lot of sleet. Anyway, my little JD worked like a champ. And the cab was just awsome, actually started to get a little warm in there (have a small 12V ceramic heater/fan inside).

This pic is from the front of the house, I missed the best part which was the low cloud was over the valley a little more than what I was able to catch.

Here's a pic I took from the inside of the cab, I wanted to show how the snow really rolls off of the blade with the hay bailer belt on the top of the blade. Tough to see, but hope you get the idea.

A little off the topic here (or completely off) but how do you like that Fasse valve kit? How many valves does it give you and in what configuration?

I really like it, a little pricey, but it was a complete package avail thru my JD dealer, so I didnt have to hunt down adapters, etc. It provide another spool that I could switch between the bucket curl and grapple open/close. The switches on the joystick make it very easy to operate. I posted pics when I installed it a couple of months ago, search for "fasse".
