Let a proper truck engine company like Cummins build it for you.

I guess you already forgot about all the bad blocks Cummins had, that rods went out the side of.

My buddy had one of them, it was a nightmare for him.

Cummins has a higher B rating than Duramax or Powerstroke.
I’ve yet to see a Powerstroke or Duramax in a Ag tractor, backhoe, etc.

I said I haven’t seen mass Cummins windowed block failures.

Even if there were, I’d still put Cummins #1 as a diesel truck engine manufacturer.

Who are you that I have to prove anything to, don't be lazy, educate YOUR SELF, don't expect everyone to do your homework for you.

I have a Cummins PU, but I'm not so stupid to think they are or have been perfect, they have had some problems over the years too.

I’ll take a Cummins over the other 2 any day. I’ve heard your views on “Dodge” trucks, which were discontinued 13 years ago. We know you aren’t a fan. Cummins is arguably the best diesel truck engine manufacturer in the world.

You want to take powerstroke or duramax over Cummins as a diesel engine for your truck, go for it, but there’s no way in hell they are superior to Cummins in diesel engine manufacturing.
I like the duramax in a light duty btruck configuration.

Let a proper truck engine company like Cummins build it for you.
The car companies like GM & Ford can stick to pasting “off road” or “tremor” decals to the truck beds. They’re good at that. lol
The big 3 laid-off all their heavy truck drivetrain engineers and experts 40 years ago.
What’s left at GM & Ford is a small group of car engine engineers trying to slap together upgraded car drivetrains and call them trucks. Their success is mostly in marketing hype.

At least Ram knows to buy a proper truck engine and transmission from a vendor who has built serious truck engines and transmissions (Cummins, Aisin, ZF) for decades. But I guess that doesn’t matter in the 500 horsepower world of hype trucks.

Thats why I buy Ram. Who knows, maybe GM or Ford will re-hire some truck engineers and start delivering trucks made for working people like they did long ago and not trucks for soccer moms and low-T dads.

Cummins new B6.7 Octane engine is the answer to GM, Ford and other pickup mfgrs. It's the durability and performance of the diesel engine on gasoline.

I have a 5.9 in my 94 Ford 700 and its great. But that being said my brother in law had one of the 53 blocks crack on him.
