Glow plugs on 7265??

I just purchasd a used 7265 with 3 cyl. diesel engine. Glow plug lamp flashes on intermittdenty even after engine is warm. I looked in operators manual and it appears that glow plugs should operate from key switch but this one has a push-button above key swich to activate plugs. Thanks for any help,Jim

Jim it sounds like your glowplug controller is bad. part no. MA31A66-05100
When they go bad it isn't long before they burn the glow plugs out.

Ned,is this tractor supposed to have a push button to activate GP's? If so how does the GP controller work in conjunction with push button? Thanks,Jim

Jim someone must have added the push button switch on to activate the GP's longer. When that light is on your getting juice to the GP's.
