Getting a Flashing code on a 2003 110 John Deere backhoe

As the title says ,I am getting a flashing code that seem to indicate something wrong with the engine speed sensor. So I am getting loss of performance. Manual suggest :get single in range :cycle controller power to clear
Any thoughts how to do this.

Any typo's in that suggestion from the manual?
And do you have the service technical manual or just the operator's manual?

There are lots of threads about those sensors failing, best to just replace it I think.

OK It was suggested to disconnect the battery. I did for over a Hr the result is the flashing code stopped. Hope that will be the end of it.

Replace the flywheel sensor and your issue should go away. The original deere part number has changed but I believe I noted that in a thread on the issue. It isn't one of the ones Kenny linked so just search my username. I also included a pic of the sensor and its location.
