GC2400 No Start

My new GC2400 has been a dream until today. It does not turn over when the key is turned. The obvious things like levers in neutral and fuses have been checked. I have power to all lights and to the ignition system but the starter does not engage. A little strange for 104 hours...

Can you hear the fuel pump running? Sounds like constant clicking. Have you checked your lever linkage to see if it is bound? PTO is in neutral?

Today I went out and turned the key and to my surprise, it started right up.
I am not certain that a couple of comments that I had made about Tiger Woods earlier in the day were some Karma coming back to pay me what I was owed. I am also a mechanic and this one has still got me stumped. I am going to continue to check all connections and cross my fingers. Thank you for your reply.
