GC2310, blown fuse .

My wife was using tractor and the backhoe, she had to move seat a lot. At the end of day, the tractor stalled and wouldn't click or start. I called the dealer and he had me check the fuses, the 10 amp was blown. They said if the harness to safety switch gets pinched and damages wire [ no wire was exposed at the kink and wasn't touching] it can cause a fuse to blow. I am thinking of changing the wire to a heavier gauge, so it won't be as easy to kink as original wire is real thin. On a different subject ,my dealer sent me a letter with coupons, discount on parts and service and they are going to free pickup of tractor versus a 130.00 pickup/ delivery charge. plowking

Nice dealer!!! I didn't get any free cuopons - but, I am still happy with the deal I got for my GC2300. And, I like my dealer.

But, I sure would have liked the packet of coupons.

If it is a single wire, run it through a vacuum hose or silicone aquarium tubing. That will protect it and also keep it from from kinking. If you can't get it through because of the end connector, there is a easy way to make a splitter for the hose. Drill a hold about a 1/16" larger than the hose in a piece of 1/2" wood. Then take a single sided razor blade and drive it into the wood. The razor blade will need to be about half way into the hole. Cut the end of the tubing about a quarter inch or a little more, then put it into the hole and start pulling. Makes a really nice wire protector.

Phillips Wire Company makes a Single wire split loom it is plastic with ribs and has a slit running the length of the loom. This is good because you do not have to disconnect the wire to install it. Hope this helps good luck.
