GC 2310 parts

I have a GC2310, today my wife was loading rocks for a wall, one rock rolled off and broke headlight and dented headlight opening in hood. I could possibly fix dent and touchup paint, depending on what hoods cost and I need the headlight assembly. My dealer has Sunday hours so I'll call him. Does any one make a guard that goes above the stock grillguard or is there a mesh extension I could add to top of bucket to keep spillage in the bucket? Thanks, plowking

Hood $350, head light $100 ouch! sorry. Take the hood to your body shop and get a price to repair it. Perhaps if they like you they will give you a deal.

I second the "ouch - sorry". I almost go tinthe same predicament this afternoon with logs instead of rocks. I lucked out no hood damge.

I went to the dealer on Sunday morning, they have Sunday hours now, 9am-2pm. I got a new headlight assembly, it was slightly damaged, so they gave me a break, a little super glue and good as new! I fixed the dent and repainted the spot, it's not bad. Dealer recommended I make a guard for top of bucket, so stuff doesn' t roll off the back. I made a 4 inch piece and angled the bottom to bolt on in front of hooks. It seems to be ok so far. I wish grill guard went up on hood more, but I see it can't or hood wouldn't open. plowking

Now that you are more aware of the hazard, it will probably not happen again.
Don't completely fill the bucket, or over fill it, tilt it back and raise it up, unless it is filled with mulch. This can be a problem with any loader. Denting the hood is a tough lesson but, its a better than denting your head.
