GC 2300 TACH????????

WENT TO LOOK AT OUR GC 2310TLB AT THE M.F. DEALER AND SAW A GC 2300 WITH A TACHOMETER COMBINED WITH THE HOUR METER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DASH (ABOUT SAME SIZE A FUEL GAGE). THE TLB WE ARE BUYING ONLY HAS THE HOUR METER. IS THIS AN OPTION???

67, when I got my GC2300, there was no tach, even though the manual referred to different tasks being done at different (specific) RPMs. I asked the dealer about it and I THINK he told me there just wasn't a tach on that model. Maybe the European ones had one because I guess the 2300 was sold over there for a couple / few years before it was sold in the States. Maybe it's one of the changes MF has introduced since I got mine.

I just bought a new 2300 and it does not come on them. The 2310 does not have them either. Can the dealer explain it? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The tach was introduced as standard equipment with 2005 production models. It is not an option on earlier models.
