I have a 2005 Gator HPX that has a squeak when you slow up just before you come to a stop. It sounds like it's coming from the rear end. It seems like it squeaks when the rear tires complete a full revolution if that makes sense. You have to be going really slow and just barely turning the wheels. Again, it seems like it squeaks everytime that wheels make a full revolution which makes me think it's coming from either the rear wheels or rear axle. Has anyone had this problem or have a suggestion on where I might start checking? It seems like something just needs lubrication. I don't want to ruin something so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Curt.

Might be the wheel/outer axle bearings? They had an update done to those years ago. I wonder if your was ever done. I would check the driven clutch on the transmission also for cracking around the rivets that hold the sheves to the hubs. They will make a squeaking sound also.

Could be the brakes squeaking. On both our ATV's the brakes squeak sometimes.

It was the brakes. Took the drivers side rear caliper off and the squeak wasn't there. Re-installed and the squeak went away. I was told that there will normally be a high spot that could have caused the squeak. Thanks to all that replied. My main concern was to make sure it's wasn't something major.
