How man hours are you expected to get out of this machine.

It looks to be in great Shape but has 3200 hours

I have one that I purchased used. It's old enough it doesn't have a meter. Sounds like the same machine though. 4x2. Mine has a Kawasaki air cooled gas engine. I would estimate mine has about 3000 hours on it. It has been dead reliable. Starts every time. Every part is available. John deere is proud of their parts though pretty pricey.
The only issue I have had is the steering rack has a bad spot in it. Still works but has a catch in it.

Well the bidding just went out of my range for on the fly shopping. It was at 2k all day and of course last minute it $2800...

I have the 4 X 2 gator as well, it's a 10 hp Kawasaki and it is a good, solid, dependable engine. Mine has 800 + hours on it and never missed a lick. It's amazing how useful it is with the power dump bed. Grandkids enjoy driving it as well, not so fast as to be much of an issue with minimal supervision.
