Not sure. When i stuck a screwdriver in it to check the fluid level, it had some fluid on the very tip of it, definitely well below the "low" mark. Guessing there is about 7 ounces missing out of the can. (He left me the can) . Anything below minimum or low must be bad. been run that way for .5 hours. Cant be good any way i look at it. Guessing that there must have been some fluid in there and they didnt top it off.How much fluid did they add?

WOW what a turn in events.Good luck with your new Kubota.I had a 2008 Kubota diesel ZTR pro model 326 that was a great machine before I bought my JD X740.coobieWent to the dealer and ended up speaking with a sales guy. He wasn't concerned about it whatsoever. Didn't like his attitude and asked for my cheque back. Left the dealer...drove 40 miles to another deer dealer i don't care for. (past experiences) Nothing on the lot that interested me and went to see the Kubota dealer i bought my last 2 tractors. Had good luck with the dealer and the equipment in the past. Bought a GR2120. Diesel and direct drive to deck and blower....ran real smooth and my wife loved it. Same price as the 540. I'm happy. Guess there wont be any Deer's for me.
Thanks rboss. JD's are quite expensive, no doubt about it. I ended up getting more for the money in the GR2120. Bought 2 tractors from Kubota (same dealer i bought the mower from). Both where trouble free with great dealer service all around . I know it will be prepped right. But i will check fluids anyway when they deliver it. It's in my nature.Hey Pete. This was a fun ride or all of us. Kabota makes a great machine. Good luck with it. I think you made a good choice not taking the X540.
Anyway use you new machine in good health an have lots of fun.
